Özet

ÖZ Modern ulus-devlet oluşum süreçlerinin günümüzde de halen devam ediyor olması benim böyle bir çalışma yapmamın ana etkenini oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışma Türk kimliğinin inşa sürecini ortaya koyma çabasıdır. Dinsel nitelikli bir kimliğin tarihsel süreç içerisinde kurgulanarak Anayasal bir çerçeveye oturtulmasını konu alan bu çalışma ile Türk kimliğinin Osmanlı ile doğup Cumhuriyetle nihai şekline ulaşmasının arkaplanı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak başlangıçta kültürel bir temelde gelişen Türk kimliği, gelişen olaylarla şekillenip siyasal bir nitelik kazanırken resmi söylemin ana kaynağını oluşturmuş ve bir üst kimlik şekline bürünerek tüm toplumu kapsayıcı ve kendi etrafında standartlaştırıcı bir özellik kazanmıştır. Bu çalışma tarihsel bir perspektif ile oluşturulmuş olup elde edilen sonuca incelenen döneme ait belgelerle ve döneme şekil veren kişilerin söylem ve eylemleriyle ulaşılmıştır. ABSTRACT The main reason for me to prepare this kind of work is still continuation of the formation process of the modern nation-state. This work is the effort of bringing up the Turkish identity's constitution process. The essay of this work, which takes an identity's placement to a constitutional frame by speculating the religious identity in a historical process as a subject, is to put forth the background of Turkish identity's formation process between the birth by Ottoman and taking the final state by Turkish Republic for consideration. Turkish identity, which was developing on a cultural basis at the beginning, constituted a main source of official discourse while it was taking a political shape by the developing events and as a result, became to an upper identity which covers all social groups and has taken a standardization property effective on its own environs. This work is constituted by a historical perspective and the result is reached by documents of the mentioned time period and the people's expressions who gave shape to that time period. in
