2. SUMMARY MEASURING THE SATISFACTION OF THE EMPLOYEES WORKING AT A PIRVATE HOSPITAL WITH A CAPACITY OF 250 PATIENTS AND CREATING ACTIVITY PLANS PURPOSE: The aim of this research is to determine the effects of the hygienic and directive elements on the satisfaction of the employees, to verify the METHODOLOGY: The data has been obtained by way of questionary. 673 of Staff of all the employee have been taken as the sampling universe. This questionary is applied to the private Vehbi Koç Foundation Hospital, which has a capacity of 250 patients in May, 2001. The number of employees is 673 941 questionary papers have been handed out for staff, doctor and subcontractor and 443 of them have been returned during the questionary. Return of questionary rate is 66%. A Four-choice-scale has been used in answering questions, whereas the satisfaction degree has been measured in a 1 00-unit-scale by multiplying the answer weights by 25. The questionary data has been recorded by way of SPSS program and the results have been obtained by using Minitab-12 statistic program. Demographic information analysis, hypothesis tests (t-test) and normality tests (Anderson- Darling Test) have been used to evaluate the results. The unbalanced distribution of the personnel in terms of their titles constitutes the constraints of the research. 3/79FINDINGS: 443 of 941 inquiry papers have been answered during the questionary. Average satisfaction degree of the employees is % 67,5. The
