SUMMARY This research Is a doctoral thesis. The sis of feis research to stsdy Bitlis River Basia geographically. Generally, it streches soatfcwest from northeast sad its northern calf remains within fee borders of Upper Fsrat Regioa whereas fee southern half of Dicle Region. AdâniristsaîiYely oısr research area Is located wifeis fee testes of Bitlis and Siirt provisoes and its raeasare of land is abasıî SS6 square küoıaeîers (exactly 865.7 fas2}.
