Özet
Çalışmada Türk tarifesiz filosunun navlun salınımlarına verdiği tepki ölçülmek istenmektedir. Regresyon analizi kulllanılmıştır. Türk tarifesiz filosunun, Dünya filosuna oranla daha çok dalgalandığı tespit edilmiştir. Buradan Turk tarifesiz filosunun, dünya filosuna göre daha çok rekabete açık olduğu ve risk barındırdığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Her iki filonunda tam rekabetçi bir piyasada çalıştığı, araştırma sonuçları ile teyit edilmiştir. Türk tarifesiz filosunun ülke ekonomisine esas katkısının asıl görünmeyen kalemler bağlamında olduğu, özellikle Türkiye'de başlayan ve biten düzenli hat taşımalarında navlunları baskı altında tuttuğuna vurgu yapmıştır. Türk filosunun daha rekabetçi bir döneme girmesi muhtemeldir. Türk armatörlerine bu can sıkıcı durum karşısında başvurulabilecek tedbirler tavsiye edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the reaction of the Turkish tramp fleet against the overall oscillation in freights. In measuring the extent of this response, regression analysis has been deployed. The analysis has revealed that the fluctation of the Turkish tramp fleet has been higher than that of the world tramp fleet. The excess in fluctuation has raised an inference that the Turkish tramp fleet has been exposed to a tougher competitive and more risky environment. The relevant research has also revealed that both the world tramp fleet and the Turkish tramp fleet have struggled within a perfectly competitive market. The findings reached have emphasized the worthwhile contributions of the Turkish tramp fleet to the Turkish economy, particulary in terms of the invisible items and also in that it has established a strict control over the liner shipping freights, concerning the shipments loaded and discharged at the Turkish ports. Considering the likeliness for the Turkish tramp fleet to encounter a more severe competition, the study has put forward some proposals for the Turkish tramp owners to overcome any difficulties such a competition might bring about.
