SUMMARY AT THE STANDART OF SAKARYA AND KOCAELİ UNIVERSITIES THE BOOKS WORD PRESENCE DEALS WITH THE PROFESSION OF TEACHERING Keywords : Education science, Term, Kocaeli University, Sakarya University. Terms are special and determining words, which conform to specific notions in science, art and profession. For this reason in education institution many terms are used. By using these terms some special notions are tried to be given to the students with the help of these special words. The fact, that there is no common sense for associated terms, the same terms are used in different places with different meanings, this situation makes it difficult for the student to understand the subject. This situation influences the period of education and productivity negatively. The education system is not really established and the uses of western originated terms instead of Turkish and comprehensible terms is seen as a great handicap for the development of our language. While handling this study we tried to figure out the comprehensibility and the origins of the words, which are used in education language. In this study we found that the terms of Turkish origins if incomprehensible which are currently used at Kocaeli University Education Faculty are more widespread and that the terms of Turkish origin which are used Sakarya University Education Faculty are more comprehensible than Kocaeli University Education Faculty even though less than it. xu
