SUMMARY LINKING PHONEMS IN TURKEY TURKISH Key Words : Language, linking phonem, Turkish, word, In our Turkish which lies on an affixation system, the link which can not be attached on the vocabulary affix formation, can also be provided with derivation phonems and at directly attachable vocabularies with the last phonem of the vocabulary and the first phonem of the affix. When the event of derivation phonem occurs at directly not attachable vocabulary affix formation in the phonems which supplies the link at the directly attachable vocabulary affix formation different phonem events are seen. In our thesis we put forth state of linking phonems in Turkey Turkish for consideration. We preferedterm of“linking phonem”which is more comprehensive than incomplete expressions that are made (until now) about linking phonems and which is more convenient for our research. Also, evaluation that is more different than existing ideas is made by expressing the sounds which can be joined needing for an instrument, can be directly joined with vocabulary-suffix formation and which are taken the function of (conjunctive in) vocabulary- suffix formation. Investigating the Works of our Turkish authors, each vocabulary related with linking phonems are prepared as an index card one by one. Index cards which we get, are investigated one by one by giving importance to alphabetic order. According to linking sounds general aspect and their situations in combination being seperated with linking vowel and consonant, evaluation is done. In the case about linking sounds, it is analyzed by thinking synchronic and when it is necessary historical periods of Turkish are benefited. Since this is the first detailed study in that field, there can also be missing aspect in our research. Our Turkish which is remaining magnificently with its details, richness and beauty.And also it was a great pleasure to serve and create variety in that field. The affixes take place, in the vocabulary affix formation of the phonems which are attributed unity, are also be evaluated according to their morth hological field so that the work can be an riched.
