Özet
?Kapadokya Bölgesi Güzelöz (Mavrucan) ve Ortaköy Mevkiindeki Kiliselerin DuvarResimlerindeki Sahnelerin konografisi? konulu çalışmamın ilk bölümü; araştırmanınamacı, yöntemi ve izlediği yol, bölgenin coğrafi konumu, tarihçesi ve dini gelişimi,Mavrucan ve Ortaköy bölgesi hakkında genel bilgileri ve bölge hakkında bilgi verenyayınları içermektedir.kinci bölümde, bölgede bulunan kiliselerin katalog tanıtımlarına, kiliselerde bulunansahnelerin mekan içindeki dağılımlarına ve bütün duvar resimlerinin ayrıntılı olaraktanım ve tasvirlerine yer verilmiştir.Üçüncü bölümde kiliselerdeki günümüze sağlam ulaşabilen duvar resimlerinindeğerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Bu değerlendirmede öncelikle sahnelerin ikonografikgelişimine önem verilmiş, sahnelerin yurt dışı ve yurt içindeki benzer örnekleriylekarşılaştırmalar yapılarak, duvar resimlerinin tarihlendirmesi yapılmaya çalışılmıştır.Sahnelerin konusunu oluşturan olayların kaynakları tespit edilmiş, kiliselerin planözellikleri baz alınarak resim programı değerlendirmesi yapılmış ve duvar resimlerininteknik ve üslup özellikleri araştırılmıştır.Sonuç bölümünde bölgedeki kiliselerde bulunan bütün duvar resimlerinin resimprogramı ve üslup özellikleri göz önünde bulundurularak duvar resimlerinintarihlendirmesi yapılmaya çalışılmıştır. Günümüze ulaşamayan duvar resimlerinintarihlendirmesi, araştırmacıların ön gördüğü tarihler çerçevesinde bırakılmıştır. Sonuçolarak Mavrucan ve Ortaköy bölgesindeki duvar resimlerinin çoğunlukla arkaik dönemve 13.y.y olmak üzere iki ayrı döneme işaret ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Duvar resimleriarasındaki ikonografik ve üslupsal değişimler, Bizans resim sanatı içerisinde farklıdönemlerin oluşmasına etken olmuştur. Bu doğal değişim etkisiyle arkaik döneme (IX.yüzyıl sonu-X yüzyıl başı) tarihlendirilen duvar resimlerinin çoğunlukla Suriye-Filistin kökenli doğu özelliklerinin tesiri altında geliştiği; 13.y.y'a tarihlenen duvarresimlerinde sanatçıların kişisel yorumlarının daha etkin olduğu anlaşılmaktadır.

My thesis includes, ?The icongraphic features of the wall painting of the churchers inGüzelöz (Mavrucan) and Ortaköy at Cappadocia Region.? The first chapter of my studyimlies the method of the study geographical site of the region, religions development,and it?s history, general information out Mavrucan and Ortaköy and publication whichgive information about this region.In the second chapter; there are introduction of the churches in the region, and theprogram of the wall painting in the churches and also detailed defining of the wholepainting of the churches.In the third chapter, we made the evaluation of the whole painting of the churches whichare sate and in good condition today. In this criticizing of the evoluation firstlyiconographic development at the scenes given importance by comparing the samesamples of the scenes between in Anatolia and in foreign Countries at the end of theevaluation, we tried to date the wall paintings of the churches, Also in evaluation;sources of the scenes were found and the program of the wall painting has beencriticized by the attention of the characteric of the plans in the region. In addition to thiswe studied the stylistic features and the techniques of the wall paintings.At the final section; we tried to date the whore wall painting with their iconographic andstylistic features and also their program in the churches. But the wall paintings whichare not exist today, have been dated to the centruies given by researchers. Finally, wecan asserted that there are two periods of wall painting which are dated to archaic periodand 13th centuries in the region of Mavrucan and Ortaköy Iconographic and stylisticvariation, caused to different periods in Byzantine painting under the effect of thisvariation the archaic wall paintings have been developed by the eastern effection ofSyria and Paletsine In the wall painting of 13thcentury, we can see mostly the personalinterpretation of the arsitsts.
