Özet
Bu çalısmada, Foça Özel Çevre Koruma Bölgesi'nin ornitolojik açıdan öneminin ortaya konması, alanı kullanan kus türlerinin nerelerde görüldüklerinin belirlenmesi, üreyen kus türlerinin üreme alanlarının ve üreyen çift sayılarının belirlenip haritalanması ve alan üzerinde etkili olan çevresel faktörlerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıstır. Arastırma sonucunda 118 kus türü kaydedilmis, bu türlerden 68'inin alanda üredigine dair bulgu elde edilmistir. Bölgenin sahip oldugu koruma statülerinden dolayı iyi korunmus bir dogal yapıya sahip oldugu, özellikle kus türleri açısından tehdit unsuru olusturabilecek önemli etmenlerin bulunmadıgı saptanmıstır.

In this studies, it was aimed to determine the ornithological importance of Foca Special Environmental Protection Area, designate the places where the bird species have been observed, map the distribution of the birds, breeding places and count the breeding pairs and lastly identifying the factors effecting the area At the and of the study 118 bird species were recorded and 68 species of them observed while breeding. Because of the protection statuties, naturel staructure was protected well and especially for the birds, it was established that there were not any important factors could be defective to the wild life of the area..
