Özet

Bu arastırma, yakın zamanlarda gelistirilmis ve kültürlerarası geçerliliği kabul edilmis olan Schwartz Değer Ölçeği'nin, 317 ortaöğretim öğrencisine uygulanması ile ilgilidir. Arastırma, ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin değerleri anlama, benimseme ve hayatlarını bu değerlere göre düzenleme noktasındaki yönelimlerini tespit etmek amacıyla gerçeklestirilmistir. Arastırmada Schwartz Değerler Ölçeği, ?stanbul ?li, Zeytinburnu ?lçesi'nde farklı türde eğitim veren bes ortaöğretim kurumunun [(Ticaret Lisesi, Meslek Lisesi, ?mam Hatip Lisesi, Zühtü Kurtulmus Lisesi (düz lise) ve ?hsan Mermerci lisesi (süper lise)] 1. 2. ve 3. sınıflarında öğrenim gören öğrencilere uygulanmıstır. Çalısmada öğrencilerin genel değer yönelimlerinin yanı sıra, cinsiyet, yas, doğum yerinin özelliği, ailenin sosyo-ekonomik seviyesi, anne ve babanın eğitim düzeyi, ailedeki birey sayısı, öğrenim görülen okul ve sınıf ve Allah inancına iliskin kanaatleri ile değer yönelimleri arasındaki iliskiler de incelenmistir. Arastırma bulgularına göre öğrenciler, bireysel değerlerden (Güç, Uyarılım ve Hazcılık) daha çok toplumsal değerleri (?yilikseverlik, Güvenlik, Uyma, Özyönelim, Evrenselcilik) ön planda tutan bir yönelim sergilemislerdir. Ayrıca çesitli sosyo-demografik değiskenler (cinsiyet, doğum yeri, ailenin sosyo-ekonomik seviyesi, babanın öğrenim düzeyi, eğitim görülen okul ve sınıf) ve Allah inancına iliskin kanaatler ile değer yönelimleri arasında birtakım anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmisti

Özet (Çeviri)

This research is about the application of Schwartz Value Survey to the 317 high school students. The survey has been recently developed and has been accepted as intercultural validity. The research has been made to determine the high school students? priorities on the understanding and the adaptation of the values and the students? changing their lives according to those values. In the research, The Schwartz Values Survey has been applied in 5 high schools in ?stanbul, Zeytinburnu. We have applied the survey to the students who are in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes of those high schools which have different kind of education curriculum (Ticaret High School, Meslek High School, ?mam Hatip High School, Zühtü Kurtulmus High School and ?hsan Mermerci High School). In the study, beside the value priorities of the students, their gender, age, the features of the place of birth, the socio- economical level of the family, the educational level of the parents, the number of the individuals in the family, the school and the class which they are the member of and the opinions about the belief in God have also been examined. According to the results the students have shown a tendency towards the social values (power, stimulation and hedonism) rather than the individual values (benevolence, security, conformity, self-direction, and universalism). Moreover, some significant differences between the various socio-demographic factors (gender, place of birth, family?s socio-economical level, education level of the father, the school and the class which the students are member of) and their opinions about the belief in God in the value priorities
