Özet
Geçtigimiz yüzyılın ikinci yarısında ifade edilmeye baslayan nanoteknoloji bu tarihten itibaren özellikle laboratuar ortamlarında birçok arastırmaya konu olmustur. 21. yüzyılla birlikte çesitlenen uygulama alanlarına birde ?nanoteknolojinin ticarilestirilmesi? olgusu eklenmistir. Bu gelisme sonucunda nanoteknolojinin yakın bir gelecekte mevcut üretim tekniklerinin yerini alacagına kesin gözüyle bakılmaktadır. Bu nedenle isletmelerin üretim süreçlerinde bu teknolojiye yer vermesi son derece stratejik bir karar niteligi tasımaktadır. Yapılan bu çalısmada nanoteknolojinin günümüz isletmelerinde ne denli büyük bir öneme sahip oldugu ve isletmelerin teknoloji yönetimi faaliyetleri kapsamında bu teknolojiye niçin önem vermeleri gerektigi açıklanmaktadır.

Nanotechnology, which has been explained for second part of the last century, was a subject of many investigations especially in laboratory area. Since the starting of the 21th Century, ?the nanotechnology commercialization? consept is added to varied areas of its application, too. After this commercializing, it is surely expected that the nanotechnology will take place of present manufacturing processes. For this reason, it is quiet strategic decision that enterprises use this technology in their manufacturing processes. In this study, it is explained how nanotechnology is of great importance in the nowadays enterprises and why enterprises need to take notice of importance for this technology over their technology management.
