VII - SUMMARY Aydın.ö'gulları Emirate dominated Tire dating from^H. 708/M.I308 to H.829/M.I425.In 1425 Ottomans deminated“ Tire. Tire was an important centre of production and com merce from the second half of the fifteenth century to the late years of the nineteenth century. The most inten sive commercial activities went on from the second half of sixteenth century to the beginning of the nineteenth century in the Ottoman period. The ceutge of that intensi ve commercial activitien was ”Yukarı Çarşı“ in which th ere were inns, bedestens,arastas and shops <?f the city. Tire market place( çarşı) formed in parellel with the development of the commercial dealings in the city in a style similar to other Anatolian cities. 27 inns(hans) were built in Tire'y according to the present recourses from the late years of the first half of the fifteenth century to the ending years of the nine teenth century.Moreover, many shops, an arastas and a be desten appeared, Inns(hans) can be grouped as floored inns and two floored inns from the plans according to their floors and yards. In Tire inns in the around floor, one side of the yard was planned to be used as stable. Vault an two parellel walls was used as roofing system. Chipped and rough stones were used as building ma terials. Gross-cutting system can sometimes be seen in the inns built in piling thecnique. In the one of the inns in Tire, factor hasn't been encountered. That Çöplü, Kutu, Bakır, Yeni and Savran inns,bedestan and a ra s t a, Which- ha ve:' b e en the”Mb J e c t ? * o f - oûr re s eârch,- *provided the commercial link. To Western Countries (like Venice, Napoli), and they were by the very important, transport-import ports, like Kuşadası »Izmir, is very important from the point that shows the commercial intensivity in Tire during Ottoman period. That the commercial buildings, thst have disappeared in time, reflect the physical aspect of Turkish city, the social »economical and cultural aspect of the society to. our time should be regarded, and this materialistic cul tural values should be organise in all aspects and should be re-fonetioned.
