Özet
îçbatı Anadolu'da yeralan Menderes Masif i dahilindeki in celeme alam, Denizli ili 3ekilli îlçesi'nin KD' sunda bulunmak tadır. 1/25.000 Slçefcli bir tam pafta berinde yaklaşık 150 TC?2 Iİk bir sahayı kapsamaktadır. Genel olarak, metamorfik ve sedi manter kaya birimlerinden meydana {.elen çalışla alanının tefelini raleozoyik yaşlı baş kalaşım kayadan oluşturmaktadır. £u kay-;çlar ortak metamorfik özellikler"; ve o.i rDirle ?i yls uyumlu olmaları nedeniyle Aslanka- ra grubu olarak i sillene i rilmiş olup başlıca: Dumanlı formasyonu Bekiköy formasyonu, Poyrazlı mermerleri olmak üzere ^ birine a;r- nlmiştir. Aslankara grubunun en alt seviyelerinde Pernio- Karbonif er yaşlı Dumanlı formasyonu yeralir. 2 ayrı üyeye ayrılan Dumanlı formasyonunu, şistlerin dışında; Kaykıllı mermer üyesi ve Kocadag kuvarsit üyesi oluşturmaktadır. Dumanlı formasyonunun egemen kaya bilimini açık-koyu yeşil renkli, bol kıvrımlı kalkşisler meydana getirir. Kaykıllı mermer üyesi, Dumanlı formasyonu dahilinde yanal-düşey geçişli olup eŞe- men litolojisini gri-'beyaz renkli, kıvrımlı mermerler oluşturur. Kocada? kuvarsit üyesi, Dumarlı şist üyesi içeris:'nde yanal-dü şey geçişli olup egemen olarak gri-beyaz renkli kavarsitlerden gel 5 şmiştir. Aslankara grubu içerisinde geniş yayı lamları ile dikkati çe ken Permiyen yaşlı Sekiköy formasyonu eğ>men olarak beyaz renkli, kıvrımlı mermerlerden oluşmuştur. 5'ormasyon içerisinde y?r yer yanal-düşey geçişli olarak g'izlenen gri-beyaz renkli kuvarsitler Koru üyesi olarak ayı rtl anmış tır. Aslankara grubu kayaçlarinin üst -seviyelerinde yeralan üst T?errniyen. yaşlı Poyrazlı mermerlerinin eremen kaya türünü gri renk li, bol kıvrımlı mermerler oluşturur. The investigation area is located at tae northeast of the Bekilli to“/n of leni zli within the Menderes.”.fessive and covers approximately 150 km 3cuare in connection with 1:25.000 scale. Mostly metamcrphic rocks of Paleozoic a?e occur at the basement ol the other me tamcrphic and sedimentary roc-cs. These basement sequences are named as the As la akara group and divided into the re e formation as follows: The Dumanlı. f cna tion, the“ 3e- kiköy format i on sacı the Poyrazla m?.rbles. Th-» rel-~. tionship between the f cem it i ons are conformable. The üumanİJ. formation, Permian the Carboniferous in a? e outcrops at the bottom of the Aslankara group, ana consists of two members named is the I.umanli formation, the Ka. /kıllı marble member ant the Kccada-g quartzite nember. The Dumanlı formation contains predominantly light to dirk greenish coloured, folded calesch.i ;>t. The Keykj-lli marble member has a lateral and vertical changes with the Dumanlı formation anc is compesea of gray to white coloured, folded marbles. The Xocadag quartzite member has also a literal-vertical changes with the Dumanlı schi3t member and is predominantly composed of gray to white coloured quartizies. r2he 3 eki köy formation within the Aslankara group outcrops widely in the study area and contains white coloured marbles. The quartizies within the formation is named as the Koru member. This member is composed mainly of gray to white coloured quarti zies and has a lateeal and vertical changes with the other depc- 3ite of the formation. The Poyrazli marbles, Late Permian in age, occur at the top of the Aslankara group and its dominant lithology is array colou red, quite folded marbles. ”Epidcte, pisthaschi te, oiemontits, =>ctinclite are the key T>nerul.3 of the Aslankara group deposits. According to this barrow type facies is the typical facies of the rugioaal meta- lîorphic rocks and it is thought that these met.-imorphic rocks were metamcrphizied bj the conditions of the green schist-IV- f acies. The contac relation with the underlying deposits of the group can not be seen it the study area. The group deposits are overlain unconformable by the Ha 3 köy formation deposits. Pliocene aged lacustrinal deposits above the Aslankara group of Paleozoic age are named as the Easköy formation, -he lithology of the formation is white coloured horizontal bedded limestones. The alluvium composed of clay, sand and gravel pebbles covers the all balow deposits. Hercynian snd Aİ.ine orogenesis affected the regional struc ture. The ma.jor tectonical structures are the fractures systems and the foldings, NE-SW in direction. Besides, in this study four location are also suggested for the marbles which has suitable features for blocks.
