In order to encounter Sipuncula species distributed along the Turkish coast, a total of 134 benthic samples was collected from different depths and biotopes (0-195 m) at 108 stations located on the Turkish Aegean coast, and analysed both in terms of qualitative and quantitative aspects. As a result, 2 classis, 5 families, 9 genera, 9 subgenera, 11 species ve 5 subspecies and 3099 specimens were determined, of which one species (Apionsoma (A.) misakianum) was new to the Mediterranean fauna, 2 species (Phascolion (I.) tuberculosum and Aspidosiphon (A.) misakiensis) new to the eastern Mediterranean fauna, and 10 species new to the Turkish fauna. In the investigated area, Onchnesoma steenstrupii steenstrupii was the highest dominance and frequency index values. Of the biotopes examined, muddy sand was characterized by the highest number of species and specimens, whereas sponges (Sarcotragus sp. and Verongia aerophoba), and Cladocora caespitosa-Pinna nobilis by the lowest number of species; C. caespitosa and P. nobilis by the lowest number of specimens. Among the sipunculids identified, Aspidosiphon (A.) elegans was a Lessepsian species.
