Özet
Bu tez Lübnan'da toplumsal yapının devlet yönetimine etkisini konu almaktadır. Lübnan, Ortadoğu'da farklı mezhebik toplulukların bir arada yaşamlarını sürdürdüğü ülkelerden biridir. Bu ülkenin diğer bölge ülkelerinden farkı toplulukların devlet yönetimini kendi mezhebik kimlikleri doğrultusunda paylaşmış olmalarıdır. Bununla birlikte söz konusu toplulukların bu iktidar paylaşımını aralarında yazılı ve yazısız anlaşmalarla gerçekleştirmelerine rağmen belli tarihsel dönemlerde kendi aralarında iktidar mücadelesine girişmişler ve bu yüzden ülke birçok siyasi krizle karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Ancak bu krizlerden topluluklar uzlaşarak çıkmış ve bu uzlaşı süreçleri de farklı krizlere zemin hazırlamıştır. Özellikle ülkedeki nüfusun bir mezhebik grup lehine arttığı belli tarihsel dönemlerde bu durum güç ve iktidar mücadelesinin kaynağı olmuş ve çoğunluğu oluşturan topluluklar azınlıkta olup iktidarı elinde tutan topluluklarla mücadele etmişlerdir. Bu durum da toplum?devlet ilişkilerini tüm tarihsel dönemlerde yoğun bir şekilde etkilemiştir. Çalışmada ülkenin toplumsal yapısının anlaşılabilmesi için ilk olarak ülkeye has kurumsal yapılar ve mezhebik topluluklar tanıtılmıştır. Toplumsal yapının devlet yönetimine etkisi ise Osmanlı Lübnan'ından günümüze kadar geniş bir tarihsel süreç içinde ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır.
Özet (Çeviri)
This thesis is dwelling on the influence of the social structure on the state government in Lebanon. Lebanon is one of the countries, in which communities from various sects coexist. The difference of this country from the other countries of the region is that, various peoples of the country have been sharing the state government as per their sectarian identities. On the other hand, despite of a power sharing based upon formal, and informal agreements, there occurred power struggles among the said communities, exposing the country to numerous political crises in certain historical periods. However, the said communities walked out these crises with consensus, and such consensus periods paved the way for different crises. Especially throughout certain historical periods, in which a particular sectarian community outweighed the overall population of the country, such a condition set the stage for the power struggle, and the communities comprising the majority fought against the communities holding the power, despite their minority within the overall population. Such a state of affairs overwhelmed the society-state relationships throughout all historical periods. In this study, initially the institutional structures and sectarian communities unique to the country have been described, for a further understanding of the social structure of the country. The influence of the social structure on the state government then has been taken into consideration within a vast historical period, such as from Ottoman Lebanon to modern Lebanon.
