Özet
Ders kitapları; öğrencilerin seviyesine uygun, bilişsel ve duyuşsal becerilerle donatılmış metinlerden oluşan, öğretim programlarını esas alan basılı eğitim öğretim materyalleridir. Türkçe ders kitapları ise temel dil becerilerini kazandırmada ve dil bilgisini öğretmede okullarda en çok kullanılan öğretim materyalidir.Bu çalışmada yeni müfredata uygun olarak hazırlanan Türkçe ders ve çalışma kitaplarının niteliğini ve öğretmen kılavuz kitaplarında önerilen temel dil becerileriyle ilgili soruların yeterliliğini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır.Çalışma 2006/2007 eğitim öğretim yılında, ilköğretim kurumlarının 6. sınıflarında okutulan üç ders kitabıyla sınırlandırılmıştır. Kitaplar, bu konudaki yazılı ve basılı materyaller, Talim ve Terbiye Kurulunun Ders Kitaplarının Hazırlanması ve İncelenmesi ile İlgili Esas ve Usulleri, Ders Kitapları ile Eğitim Araçlarının İncelenmesi ve Değerlendirilmesine İlişkin Yönerge, TSE'nin ders kitaplarıyla ilgili standartları esas alınarak incelenmiştir.Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde ders kitaplarının biçim özellikleri; ikinci bölümünde ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin ve çalışma kitaplarındaki etkinliklerin içerik özellikleri; üçüncü bölümünde ise öğretmen kılavuz kitaplarındaki temel dil becerileriyle ilgili sorular amaçları ve cevap kaynakları açısından incelenmiştir.Yapılan incelemede ders kitaplarının cilt özelliklerinin standartlara uygun olmadığı görülmüştür. Kitaplarda kullanılan bazı resimlerin orijinalleri üzerinde yapılan değişiklikler resimlerin gerçekçiliğini azaltmıştır. Kitaplarda edebî türlerin özelliklerini kavratıcı, metin yazarlarını tanıtıcı etkinlik ve sorulara yeteri kadar yer verilmemiştir. Kurgusal ve bilgi veren yazınsal türler arasında sayısal denge sağlanmamıştır. Kitap setlerinin içinde dinleme metinlerinin seslendirildiği materyallere, ders ve çalışma kitaplarında temalarla ilgili internet adreslerine ve okuma kaynaklarına yer verilmemiştir. Öğretmen kılavuz kitaplarındaki dört temel dil becerisiyle ilgili sorular, nicelik ve nitelik olarak yeterli değildir.

Students books are printed education materials, which are proper for students levels contain texst ornamented with cognitive and sensory skills, take education programmes as a basis. Turkish students? boks are the education materials which are used for acquiring basic language skills and teaching grammar.The aim of this study is to deter mine the sufficiency of the questions about basic language skills suggested in teachers? books and the quality of Turkish students books and workbooks prepared according to the curriculum.The study is limited to three students? books being studied in sixty grade classes of primary education schools in 2006-2007 education year. The book are have been examined in terms of the materials written and printed about this subject, the basis and methods of instruction and Education institution about preparing and examining students? books instructions concerning evaluation an examinationof students? books and means of teaching, standarts of Turkish standarts institutions about students books.In the first part of the study the formal qualities of the books ; in the second part, the texts in students? book and the activities in workbooks, contents qualities; in the third part, the questions about basic language skills in teachers books are examined in terms of aims and sources of answers.In the research having been made, it has been found out that the qualities of binding are not appropriate for the standards. The changes, which have been done in the originals of the pictures, decrease the realism of them. In books the activities and the questions with which the qualities of literary texts can be comprehended and the authors of the texts can be introduced are not included.Numerical balance between thearetical and communicant literary types is not provided. Materials in which the listening texts are recorded, internet addresses which are about the themes in students? books and workbooks. The questions about four language skills in teachers books are not sufficient in terms of quality and quantity.
