Özet
Bu çalışmada Bayburt ilinin çevresinde yüzeyleyen orta Eosen yaşlı Yazyurdu formasyonunun nannoplankton biyostratigrafisi yapılmıştır. Yazyurdu formasyonu tüf, tüfit, marn, kumtaşı ardalanmasından oluşmaktadır. Formasyon inceleme alanında tabanda Dogger-Malm-Alt Kretase yaşlı, gri, bej renkli, fosilli kireçtaşlarından oluşan Hozbirikyayla formasyonunun üzerine açısal uyumsuzlukla gelmektedir. Bazı bölgelerde formasyon üzerine tektonik dokanakla Hozbirikyayla formasyonu gelirken, diğer bazı bölgelerde ise alüvyon örtü gelmektedir. Çalışma alanında toplam 8 stratigrafik kesit ölçülmüş ve 103 adet örnek alınmıştır. Kiltaşı, marn ve silttaşı litolojisindeki bu örneklerden 29 cins ve 85 tür nannoplankton tanımlanmıştır. Tanımlanan bu nannoplankton türleriyle de Nannotetrina fulgens zonu (Lütesiyen), Discoaster tanii nodifer zonu (Lütesiyen-Bartoniyen) ve Discoaster saipanensis zonu (Bartoniyen) belirlenmiştir. İnceleme alanında tanımlanan kalkerli nannoplankton zonları Türkiye'de, Akdeniz kuşağı üzerinde ve Dünya'daki benzer çalışmalarla karşılaştırılmıştır.Nannoplankton fert bollukları sayılarak elde edilen kantitatif analizleri yardımıyla Eosen'deki deniz suyu sıcaklıkları yorumlanmıştır. Bayburt yöresinde Nannotetrina fulgens zonunda ve Bayburt ilinin kuzeyinde Discoaster tanii nodifer zonunun orta seviyelerinin üzerinde ılıman bir ortamın bulunduğu, diğer taraftan Bayburt ilinin batısı ve kuzeybatısında ise Discoaster tanii nodifer zonu orta seviyelerinden sonra ve Discoaster saipanensis zonu başlangıcında ortam ısısının azaldığı gözlenmiştir.

In this study, calcareous nannoplankton biostratigraphy was conducted in Yazyurdu formation of middle Eocene exposed at Bayburt area. Yazyurdu formation consists of claystone, marl and siltstone. This formation is unconformably overlain by Dogger-Malm-Lower Cretaceous aged Hozbirikyayla formation consisting of grey, beige colored limestone. In some regions, this formation is tectonically covered by Yazyurdu formation, but in some regions they are covered by alluvial deposits. In the study area, 8 stratigraphic sections were measured and 103 samples were collected. Totally 29 genus, 85 species were identified in these samples consisting of claystone, marl and siltstone. Nannotetrina fulgens zone (Lutetian),, Discoaster tanii nodifer zone nodifer (Lutetian-Bartonian) and Discoaster saipanensis zone (Bartonian) have been determined by these nannoplankton species. Calcareous nannoplankton biozones determined in the study area have been compared with the similar studies made in the Mediterranean belt, in Turkey and in the world.Quantitative analyses were determined by counting the abundances of individuals. By this way, the temperature of the sea water have been interpreted in the Eocene. In the Bayburt area and in the Northern part of the Bayburt, temperate climate were found in the Nannotetrina fulgens zone and after the middle levels of the Discoaster tanii nodifer zone. On the other hand, the climate decreases after the middle levels of the Discoaster tanii nodifer zone and in the begining of the Discoaster saipanensis zone in the the Western and Northwestern part of the Bayburt.
