SUMMARY In the -First section o-F this thesis, di-F-Ferent views o-F researchers on Epi-Palaeol i thic age has been presented; information on the examined material and the research metodology has been i ntroduced. This section also includes de-Finitions. The second section includes in-Formations about on the de-Finitions o-F end-scrapers; studies o-F classi-F-Fyi ng in the world and use o-F the -Functions o-F these tools have been done up to today. In the third section information on the importance and the history o-F öküzini Cave has been given. The sub-types, which are examined in the -Following sections, o-F the 217 materials selected.From this Cave are determined. The horizontal and vertical distribution o-F the materials in the area a.r& examined in relation to their sub- types. In conclusion, the end-scrapers in UkQzini Cave, show remarkable assortment and can be classi-Fied into 24 sub types. Among these, some regional sub-types have been determined. Accordi ng to the result o-F on examinations analysis some o-F the sub-types were used with a handle. More than 7.50 o-F the materials are made on blade. This points out the presence o-F a developed blade culture in the cave. We believe that this study will guide more detailed morphological researches in the -Future.
