Özet

Kültür, insanların tarihi süreç içerisinde sahip oldukları birikimlerdir. Milletlerin kültürlerinin korunmasında ve günümüze kadar ulaşmasında aktif rolü yazarlar üslenmektedir. Bu aktif rolü üstlenen yazarlardan birisi de Ahmet Mithat Efendidir. Avrupa kültüründen, tekniğinde ve sosyal yaşayışından etkilenmiş, ancak Avrupa medeniyeti ve kültürü karşısında kendi kültürümüze bağlı kalmamızı şiddetle arzulamıştır.Döneme damgasını vuran Batı felsefesi hakkında eleştirel eserler kaleme almıştır. Her konuda eserler yazmış olması, konuyu derinlemesine işlemesine engel olmuştur. Dolayısıyla felsefe konusundaki görüşleri de böyledir. Bu nedenle, Ahmet Mithat'ı bir filozof olarak görmek mümkün değildir. Ahmet Mithat'ın buradaki görevi çeşitli felsefi görüşleri halkın anlayacağı bir dille halka anlatmak ve tanıtmak olmuştur. Kendisi: ?Ben her eserimde kari'ilerimi, eğlenceli fıkralar arasında yüksek bir felsefeye doğru çekmeye uğraştım.? diyerek bir yazar olarak amacını açıklamıştır.Türk fikir hayatında ilk defa onunla batının felsefe problemleri üzerinde fikir yürütülmeye başlanmıştır. Hayatı boyunca doymak bilmeyen bir bilgi açlığıyla hem kendisini hem de yaşadığı toplumu aydınlatmayı kendisine hedef olarak seçmiştir.

Culture is accumulations which people have throughout the course of own history. Authors have featured cultures of nations in the protection and active role reaching todays. One of the authors of this active role is Ahmet Mithat Efendi. He was affected by European culture, technical and social lives, but in the face of European civilization and culture of our stay connected to our own culture is strongly desired by him.He wrote the critical works about period marked by the Western philosophy. Because he had written on every subject, the subject was been a barrier to deep processing by him. Therefore, it is also the same about his views on philosophy; therefore, seeing Ahmet Mithat as a philosopher is not possible. Ahmet Mithat's tasks in various philosophical views of the people here to understand language and to introduce the public has been told. He said: ?I?ve worked for my readers to attract a higher towards a philosophy among funny jokes each my work.? he stated the purpose as a writer.On the philosophy problems of Western have been under way in Turkish idea life with him the first time. He chose both himself and his living society as the target illumination with insatiable hunger knowledge throughout his life.
