Özet
Ege Denizi'nin kuzeyinde yer alan Thasos Adası, antik dönemde şarap üretimi ve ticareti ile ön plana çıkan en önemli merkezlerden biridir. Antik yazarlar tarafından kaliteli ve farklı tatlarıyla sıkça bahsedilen Thasos şarabı, İ.Ö. 6. yüzyıldan-2. yüzyıla kadar adada üretilen amphoralar ile çeşitli tüketim merkezlerine ihraç edilmiştir. Üretilen bu amphoralarda İ.Ö. 6. yüzyıl sonu-5. yüzyıl başına tarihlenen dönemlerde düzenli bir mühürleme sistemi uygulanmaya başlanmıştır ve daha sonra üretime başlayan Rhodos, Knidos gibi önemli şarap üretim merkezlerine de bu anlamda örnek olmuştur.Farklı dönemlerde farklı tarzda görülen Thasos'a ait amphora mühürleri üzerinde ?Thasion? şeklinde etniğin belirtilmesinden dolayı kolayca ayırt edilebilmektedir. Konumu itibariyle daha çok Karadeniz Bölgesi'ndeki kentlerle ticari ilişkiler kurduğu gözlenen adanın aynı zamanda Doğu Akdeniz'deki bazı merkezlerle de şarap ticareti yaptığı amphora ve amphora parçalarının yanı sıra bunların mühürleri yardımıyla anlaşılmaktadır. Mühürlü amphora üretimine başladığı dönemlerde özellikle Yunanistan ve Küçük Asya'da kendisine yakın konumda bulunan kentlerle ticaret yaptığı görülen Thasos'un ilerleyen yıllarda Ege Adaları, Girit, Kıbrıs, Mısır ve Levant Bölgesi'ndeki birçok Doğu Akdeniz kentine şarap ihraç ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu kentlerde elde edilen Thasos amphora mühürleri sadece Thasos'un ticari rotası ile ilgili değil aynı zamanda hangi dönemlerde, ne kadar yoğunlukta şarap ticareti yapmış olduğu hakkında da bilgi sağlamaktadır.Bu çalışmada, Thasos'un Doğu Akdeniz'deki merkezlerle olan ticari ilişkilerinin kanıtları ve özellikle Alexandria/Mısır kentinde gerçekleşen kurtarma kazılarında ele geçen amphora mühürleri yer almaktadır.

Island of Thasos which is on the northern side of the Aegean Sea, was one of the most important center with its wine production and trade in antiquity. The wine of Thasos which was mentioned by the ancient writers with its quality and different flavour was exported to the various consumption centers in the amphoras which were produced from 6th to 2nd century B.C. in the island. Island of Thasos which started to apply regular stamping system on these amphoras at the end of the 6th-at the beginning of the fifth century B.C. inspried the other important wine production centers like Rhodes and Cnide.Thasos amphora stamps which could be seen in different types in different periods can be distiguished easily through the ethnic ?Thasion?. Because of the localisation of the island, it mostly had trade realtions with the centers in the Black Sea region but by the aid of the these amphora stamps it is seen that it also made wine trade with many centers in the Eastern Mediterranean. In the time it started the production of stamped amphoras it is known that Thasos had commercial relationships with cities in Greece and Asia Minor, especially those closer to the island. It was established that later on Thasos exported wine to various places such as Aegean Islands, Crete, Cyprus, Egypt and Levantine in the Eastern Mediterranean. Thasos amphora stamps found in these regions are not just give details about the trade route of Thasos but it also gives information about the amount of the wine trade in different periods.In this volume, it is presented the evidence of Thasian trade with the Eastern Mediterranean centers and especially the Thasian amphora stamps found in the rescue excavations in Alexandria/Egypt.
