Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim 4.-5. sınıf öğrencilerinin kendi çizimlerinden fen dersi öğretimine yönelik algılarıyla bazı değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise, Afyonkarahisar ilinde bulunan okullardaki 704 dördüncü ve beşinci sınıf öğrencisidir. Araştırmada veriler Fen Bilgisi Öğretmeni Resimleme Formu (DASTT-C)'nun ve Çoklu Zeka Alanları Gözlem Formu'nun 704 öğrenci tarafından yanıtlanmasıyla elde edilmiştir. Veri toplama araçlarının uygulanması sonunda elde edilen veriler amaçlara uygun olarak frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, korelasyon analizi, mann whitney u-testi ve kruskal-wallis testi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin istatistiksel çözümlemelerinde SPSS 16,0 Programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada anlamlılık düzeyi .05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin fen öğretimi algılarının sınıf düzeyi, cinsiyet, sosyo-ekonomik düzey, baba ve annelerinin eğitim düzeyine göre farklılık gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin fen dersi öğretimine yönelik algılarıyla çoklu zeka türleri arasında yüksek bir ilişki bulunmuştur.

The present study aims to determine the relationship between fourth and fifth grade elementary school students? perceptions of science teaching and some variables drawing upon their self-drawings. The study group comprise 704 fourth and fifth grade students receiving education at schools selected within the province of Afyonkarahisar. The data of the research were obtained through the responses of 704 students to `Draw-A-Science-Teacher-Test Checklist? and `Areas of Multiple Intelligence Observation Form?. In accordance with the purposes of the study, the data obtained through the applied scales were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation analysis, mann whitney u-test and kruskal-wallis test. SPSS 16.0 software was used for the statistical analysis of the data. The level of significance in the study was agreed to be .05. The data analysis shows that students? perceptions of science teaching differ in terms of gender, grade level, socio-economic level, fathers? educational level, mothers? educational level and furthermore, a high correlation was found between students? perceptions of science teaching and their conceptions of multiple intelligence types.
