Özet
Bu çalışma“Sağlık İçin Beslenme ve Fiziksel Aktivite Programı”nın (SİBFAP) ilköğretim 4.sınıf öğrencileri üzerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla ön test - son test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel bir çalışma olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma Ekim 2011-Haziran 2012 tarihleri arasında iki ilköğretim okulunda 4.sınıfa devam eden, toplam 114 öğrenci ile yapılmıştır. Okullardan biri girişim (n=64), diğeri kontrol grubu (n=50) olarak belirlenmiştir. Girişim grubundaki öğrencilere toplam 6 haftada 12 ders eğitim verilmiştir. Veriler Çocuklara Ait Tanıtıcı Soru Formu, Beslenme Davranış Ölçeği (BDÖ), Çocuk Beslenme Öz-yeterlik Ölçeği (BÖÖ), Çocuk Fiziksel Aktivite Anketi (ÇFAA) ve Fiziksel Aktivite Öz-yeterlik Ölçeği (FAÖÖ) ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ki-kare testi, t testi ve Mann-Whitney U testi, Wilcoxon eş testi kullanılmıştır. Girişim grubundaki öğrencilerin son test BDÖ, BÖÖ, ÇFAA ve FAÖÖ ortanca puanlarının ön teste göre anlamlı artış gösterdiği saptanmıştır. Ayrıca son test ve izlem döneminde girişim grubunun BDÖ, ÇFAA ortanca puanları kontrol grubundan istatistiksel olarak anlamlı yüksektir. Beslenme ve fiziksel aktivite öz-yeterlilik son test ve izlem ortanca punları incelendiğinde, girişim ve kontrol grubu arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark bulunmamıştır. Sonuç olarak hemşire liderli SİBFAP?ın öğrencilerin beslenme ve fiziksel aktivite davranışlarını geliştirmede etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda SİBFAP?ın beslenme ve fiziksel aktivite öz-yeterliğinin geliştirilmesi için bireysel girişimli ileri çalışmalar gereklidir.

This study was conducted as a quasi-experimental study to determine the effect of“Diet and Physical Activity for Health Program ”(DPAHP) on the 4th grade primary school students through pre-test and post-test control groups. The study was carried out with 114 students attending the 4th grade classes of two primary schools between September 2011 and June 2012. One of these schools was determined as the experimental group (n=64), while the other one (n=50) as the control group. The students belonging to the experimental group were given a total of 12 hours of education during 6 weeks. The data were collected using the Self-description questionnaire for children, Food Behavior Scale (FBS), Children's Dietary Self- Efficacy Scale (CDSS), The Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children (PAQ-C) and Physical Activity Self-efficacy Scale (PASS). The data analyses were conducted through chi-square test, t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Wilcoxon paired-samples test. The results of the study indicated that there was a statistically significant increase in the FBS, CDSS, PAQ-C and PASS median scores of the students in the experimental group after they attended DPAHP. It was also noticed that the FBS and PAQ-C scores of the experimental group in the post test and follow-up were higher than those of the control group; however, there was not any significant difference in the CDSS and PASS median scores. As a result, it was found out that DPAHP affects children's nutrition and physical activity behaviors. Moreover for the development of nutrition and physical activity self-efficacy further the individual studies are necessary
