We study three diFFerent issues of robustness in Economics of Information.In the Fİrst chapter (with Mehmet Barlo), we study Epsilon-Nash Implementationunder complete information. We provide necessary and suficient conditions for a socialchoice correspondence to be implementable in Epsilon-Nash equilibrium. Our resultsdisplay the robustness of Maskin's seminal result on Nash implementation.In the second chapter (with Mehmet Ekmekci), we study reputation games where along-run player plays a Fİxed stage game against an inFİnite sequence of opponents. Weshow that in these games, if the signals are imperfectly observed with full support, thenthe Nash equilibrium correspondence is, for Fİxed discount factor, upper hemicontinuous inthe prior probability that the long-run player is a commitment type at zero. We concludethat in such games, introducing arbitrarily small incomplete information cannot open thepossibility of new equilibrium payoffs for the long-run player that are far away from thecomplete information equilibrium payo set.In the third and final chapter (with Moshe Hoffman), we provide necessary and sufi-cient conditions in order for rational agents to coordinate on different equilibria in differentstates of the world. These conditions not only help us identify what kind of informationstructures allow for a specific type of sunspot-like equilibrium but also display the robustnessof this type of equilibrium with respect to information structures. Furthermore, thisspecific type of equilibrium sheds light on the role of common knowledge in explainingpuzzling social behaviors, like pursuing or avoiding eye contact, or using innuendos. Ourresults can be used to address economic phenomena such as bank-runs.
