This thesis contains a description of the chemistry of some allyl complexes of palladium and molybdenum. Chapter 1 is a review of the synthesis of allyl complexes of transition metals and discussion the chemistry and the application of such complexes in organic synthesis. All the complexes are obtained as a solid and following techniques were used for characterisations: elemental analysis, NMR, IR and FAB-MS spectroscopy. Chapter 2 is a review of the nJ-oxodimethylenemethane complexes of transition metals.
