This project is based on understanding spectral properties of substitutions, their associated dynamical systems and the properties of these dynamical systems. Weak mixing, mixing and unique ergodicity for a dynamical system associated to primitive substitutions were studied from different research papers such as [DK, FMN, PM]. And also the relation between the linear trajectories (on the square and octagon) and symbolic coding sequence are studied by means of continued fractions in [CS, SU]. Finally, the results in [SU] were presented by substitutions and searched for minimal and ergodic examples.
