Even though, the concept of dumping and anti dumping came to existence since Second World War, in recent 30 years ıt has became a major issue as, it started one of the most controversial practice in the international trade. The dumping problem also brought the anti-thesis of itself, anti-dumping which became a huge obstacle, for many people, as ıt has a huge support among many politicians in the G-20 countries. As new emerging economic powers such as China and India focusing heavily on dumping, many countries counter-reacting it by strict anti-dumping measure which causes major upheavels among international market because the countries who are implementing these policies become more and more protectionist and, in the same amount, less and less keen on free-market policies. In the near past, especially by Barack Obama, developed nations are starting to build their export trade policies majorly on this issue. In this work, we will try to cover this vital phenomenon in various aspects but especially, its effect on Turkey. Such export oriented policies started in this country after its liberalization in early 1980's and it has became a major issue since. So, we will mention the Most important legislations related to this and its impact on Turkey's relations economically with other countries, especially with European Union. The cases and the investigations that related with this country and varieities of this problem will be also included. By this way, we will try to figure it out Turkey's current approach and situation in international market in this aspect and may give some ideas about the possible recommendations and evaluations for this country.
