Özet (Çeviri)
Emergence of new approaches to childhood resulted in seeing the children individuals with rights. It can be claimed that a reflection of this change can be seen in International agreements that defines and aims to protect the rights of the child. These international agreements were ratified very quickly by the vast majority of the countries in the world. As a result countries made domestic legislation to internalize these international norms. However, it is widely accepted that there are still problems with implementation of these laws. One of such examples can be seen in the case of Turkey regarding one of the key right of the child. As it is the case throughout the world, one of the major reasons for this is the child labour. This dissertation aims to focus on one of the most striking examples of child labour that deprives children of their right to education: the case of migrant seasonal worker families. These families migrate to different parts of the country to earn their living and children are also included in the workforce in most cases. This dissertation aims to reveal how this phenomenon affects these children's use of their right to education.
