As artifıcial intelligence performs rapid developments and computers are programmed to act more like human beings, several social and ethical issues come into focus. For example: Are there ethical bounds on what computers should be programmed to do? Are the societal challenges and opportunities of potential AI successes considered in detail? Are there any necessary precautions that should be taken in order to lessen the possible risks? How might AI successes in multiple realms and venues lead to signifıcant or perhaps even disruptive societal changes? _Are the goals defıned clearly? What is the current position and where AI is headed to? And of course is this the intended result? In the last years experts are becoming aware of the severity of the subject. Artifıcial intelligence researchers are warning that now is the time to develop ethical guidelines for ensuring AI advances help rather than harm. In this study we explored the need for the ethics of machine intelligence. Other than these ethical concerns, we researched the possible social and legal concerns that may emerge with the rise of cornpetent intelligent computation. We focused on the potential long-term societal in:fluences of AI research and development, possible changes in human-computer relationships.
