This work assumes that the security perceptions changed after 9/11 in the Middle East. In this regard, this dissertation aimed to demonstrate US Foreign Policy towards Middle East in the post 9/11--‐era and US--‐Turkish security relations in this scale. First and second chapters explain the road map of the United States in the post 9/11 Era and Turkey's position whereas third and fourth chapters explain Turkey's relations with other two countries in the region– Israel and Syria--‐ and US stance in changing conditions of the region, stemming from US Foreign Policy towards the Middle East. In this regard, this work aimed to demonstrate cooperation capabilities between Turkey and US for the salient issues of the Middle East, which emerged in the post 9/11 era.
