Özet (Çeviri)

Artificial lighting is one of humanity's greatest technological achievements. Among recently developed illumination devices, light-emitting electrochemical cells (LECs) have attracted a lot of attention due to their easy, low-cost and solution-based fabrication under ambient conditions on any kind of substrate. Recently introduced quantum dot (QD) based LECs have paved the way to introduce organic-inorganic metal halide perovskite nanoparticles (NPs) as the active emitters in LECs since hybrid perovskites exhibit superior features over conventional II-VI type semiconductor QDs due to the absence of deep trap states within the band gap. In this study, green-emitting hybrid perovskite NPs with two different organic cations, methylammonium (MA) and formamidinium (FA), were prepared by modifying the reported procedure. Additionally, the quantum confinement effect of MA based perovskite NPs was further investigated, demonstrating a blue shift up to 90 nm in the absorption spectra. The work presented here not only demonstrates the synthesis of perovskite nanoparticles, but also shows in-depth photophysical characterization and their incorporation for the first time in LECs. The devices feature luminances higher than 1 cd/m2 at low driving currents and show the great promise of this family of materials in lighting applications. Additionally, the results presented here open up a completely new research avenue in the field of hybrid metal halide perovskites.
