Designing a manufacturing framework and developing a business plan for a new product is a challenging task. It is easier to improve the business aspects in an existing product rather than developing a new one. The beer dispensing robot is a prototype and is not yet available for commercial purpose. This project is aimed at providing a complete solution for commercialising the product. The cost reduction and availability of the business market are set as the priorities. The present design of the product has basic design, features and has plenty of limitations. The availability of the market and the“make to order”clause implied helped us determine a specific market and proceed towards the manufacturing process. The manufacturing process has had a tremendous paradigm shift in the years with improved technology. It is astonishing to use the traditional method of assembly and a fully manual manufacturing plant and yet reduce the expenses to a huge extent. The brand Heineken is a global name and is spread all over the world and. The product is ideally developed for the UK during the first year. The basic model of the prototype is redesigned and the extra features are added for the betterment of the product. The customisation of the product would make the product very commercial. The business plan developed is a complete solution covering all aspects of business from material outsourcing to after sales service. The report may be used as a guideline for manufacturing the product in reality and establishing the business towards Europe. At the end of the report an apparent manufacturing design and business plan for the robot can be implicit.
