Differences between cultures are a situation where international business transactions affected since humankind has been trading among each other. It is also a reason for so many companies to lose profit whereas potential consumers cannot satisfy their endless demands due to this reason. The central aim of this thesis is to understand and investigate the role of cultural awareness in multicultural business environment via international managers of companies from Turkey and United Kingdom where conduct business in each other's countries. The data gathered from four managers who work for these companies by online interview. Being aware about cultural issues tested in terms of four main approaches: ability to prevent preconceived notions through gaining multiple perspective, understanding effects of norms and practices through improving culture reading skills, developing cross-cultural relations by the help of intercultural communication techniques and learning adaptation strategies to be flexible for local environment. This study used qualitative data analysis, pre-understanding research technique and hermeneutic interpretation method by Gummesson (2000). This study revealed that the cultural awareness can cause to bankrupts and failures and also can gain by techniques, application of prior knowledge and first-hand investigation even though the companies are used to cope with this situation by their managers' personal background knowledge. Therefore, unorganised and poor collaborated management mentality of multinational companies about host country culture tend to fail to conduct business in international markets.
