Özet
Bu Yüksek Lisans çalışmasının konusu, 'Çorum'un H. 1240 - 1254 / M. 1824 - 1836 tarihli Şer'iyye Sicili'nin H. 1240 - 1241 / M. 1824 - 1836 yıllan arası transkripsiyon ve değerlendirme' sidir. Bu çalışma için, defterdeki ilk 109 kayıt esas alınmıştır. İncelenen 1824 - 1826 yılları arası, Osmanlı Devleti'nin Mora isyanını bastırmaya çalıştığı kısa bir dönemi içine almaktadır. Devlet, bu isyanı ile uğraşırken küçük bir Anadolu şehri olan Çorum'un sosyal ve ekonomik hayatı incelenmiştir. Çorum şehrine idari olarak, İskilip, Osmancık, Katar, Saz, ve Hacı Hamza'nın bağlı bulundukları görülmektedir. Ayrıca, yerleşik olmayan aşiretlerin var oldukları tesbit edilmiştir. Çorum'da sosyal olaylar,başlıca olarak, evlilik, şekavet olayları,sosyal yapılar ve müesseseler adları altında incelenmiştir. Ekonomik olaylar ise, genel durum, üretim, ticaret ve meslekler adları altında incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, Çorum şehri'nin sosyal ve ekonomik yapısı, devletin bastırmaya çalıştığı isyan sebebiyle uğradığı kötü durumdan etkilenmiştir. Devletin ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için koymuş oldukları vergi ve asker istemesi, Çorum şehri'nin sosyal ve ekonomik yapısını daha fazla bozmuştur.

This master study's topic is the transcription and analysis of court records including only in the years of BC. 1824 - 1826 / H. 1240 - 1241, in Çorum's court records within the years of BC. 1824 - 1836 / H. 1240 - 1254. For this study, the first 109 registers took in principle. The period of 1 824 and 1 826 years examining includes that the Ottoman State tried to cut stop the rebellion of Mora island. While the state turning its eyes to the Island, the small Anatolian city, Çorum, was examined with the life of economic and social. It has been seen that the towns of İskilip, Osmancık, katar, saz, and Hacı Hamza administrativelly were parts of the city. Moreover, it has been established that there were some unsettled nomadic tribes. The social events m the city were examined basically with marriages, villainy incidents, social institutions and building. The economic events were examined with the general stuation, production, careers, and merchantilism. In conclusion, the structure of Çorum's economic and social were terribly effected in with the rebellion being tried to suppress by the state. To meet the need of the state, the state put new taxes and required new soldiers. This caused disturbing the city's economic and social structure much more than before.
