Özet
Bu araştırmada, İstasyon Tekniğinin öğrencilerin Sosyal Bilgiler dersindeki başarılarına ve tutumlarına olan etkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılı I. ve II. döneminde, Elazığ merkez Kaya Karakaya Ortaokulu'nda bulunan 6. sınıflarında öğrenim gören toplam 45 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, deneysel desenin ön-test son-test kontrol gruplu modeli kullanılmıştır. Deney grubu (22 kişi), kontrol grubu (23 kişi) ders öğretmeni tarafından tesadüfî olarak seçilmiştir. Uygulama sürecinde, kontrol grubu öğrencileriyle dersler öğretim programında yer alan etkinlikler yapılarak işlenirken, deney grubundaki öğrencilerle bu konular“İstasyon Tekniği”kullanılarak işlendi. Deney grubundaki öğrenciler, 5-6 kişiden oluşan 4 özdeş gruba ayrıldı. Gruplar hazırlanan 24 öğrenme istasyonunda, araştırmacı rehberliğinde, haftada 1 ders saati ile 6 hafta boyunca, 40 dakikalık sürelerde dönüşümlü olarak çalışmışlardır. Bu çalışmada öğrenci başarılarını ölçmek için“Ülkemizin Kaynakları”ünitesinin konuları ile ilgili çoktan seçmeli 25 sorudan oluşan başarı testi ve 29 sorudan oluşan 5'li Likert tipi tutum ölçeği tüm gruplara ön-test ve son-test olarak uygulandı. Çalışma sonunda, istasyon tekniğinin uygulandığı deney grubundaki öğrencilerin başarılarını arttırdığı gözlenmiştir. Bu sonuç“İstasyon Tekniği”nin öğrenci başarısına katkı yaptığı şeklinde yorumlanmıştır. İstasyon tekniğinin uygulandığı deney grubu ve mevcut öğretim programında yer alan etkinliklerin uygulandığı kontrol grubu karşılaştırıldığında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık çıkmamıştır. Grupların toplam tutum puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık belirlenmemiştir. Ancak tutum ölçeğinin fayda, istek ve güven boyutunda deney grubunun puanları yükselmiştir.

In this study, the effect of Station Technique on students' success and attitude towards Social Studies is explored. The target population of the study consists of totally 45 6th grade students at Elazığ Central Kaya Karakaya Secondary School in 2014 – 2015 academic year. In the study, Preliminary and final test control group model of experimental design is used. Experimental group (22 people), control group (23 people) were selected randomly by the teacher of the lesson. During application process, while control group students have the lecture with the techniques in the curriculum, the experimental group students have the lecture with the“Station Technique.”The students in the experimental group were divided into four identical groups of 5-6 people. Groups have worked in 24 learning stations prepared alternately for 40 minutes each week for 6 weeks with the researchers' guidance. In this study, to measure the students' success, an achievement test consisting of 25 multiple choice questions and a Likert Type attitude scale about“The Recourses of Our Country”unit were applied to the all groups as preliminary tests and final tests. At the end of the study, the students in the experimental group where the station technique was used have increased their success. This result has been interpreted as it helped increasing their achievement. When the experimental group where the station technique is used are compared with the control group where the techniques in the existing curriculum were used, there hasn't appeared a significant difference. Among the total attitude points of the groups, there isn't determined a significant difference statically. However, the experimental group's points have increased in terms of the attitude scale's benefits, want and confidence.
