Özet
Türkiye rotiferleri üzerine çok sayıda çalışma yapılmıştır bu sebeple Rotifera şubesinin Türkiye'deki tür çeşitliliği ve dağılımı oldukça iyi bilinmektedir. Ülkenin hemen hemen her iline ait su kaynaklarından rotifer örnekleri toplanarak teşhisler yapılmış fakat Nevşehir iline ait hiç bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Bu tez çalışması ile ilk kez Nevşehir ili Rotifera faunası üzerine bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nevşehir ili tatlı su Rotifera türlerini belirlemek amacı ile Nisan 2013–Şubat 2014 tarihleri arasında arazi çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nevşehir ilinde bulunan 10 farklı su kaynağından ve her bir su kaynağına ait 3 farklı istasyondan Rotifera örnekleri toplanmıştır. Toplanan örnekler 250 ml'lik plastik şişelere konarak (% 4'lük formaldehit içerisinde) etiketlenmiş ve laboratuvara getirilmiştir. Taramalı elektron mikroskobu (SEM), binoküler ve inverted ışık mikroskopları toplanan rotifer türlerinin teşhisinde kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışma sonucunda Nevşehir ilinde, Rotifera şubesinden 28 cinse ait toplam 72 tür tespit edilmiştir. Lecane cinsi 9 (%13) tür ile en baskın cins olarak kaydedilirken bunu sırasıyla Trichocerca (7 tür %10), Brachionus (7 tür, %10)ve Cephalodella (5 tür, %7) cinsleri takip etmiştir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışma ile ilk kez Nevşehir Rotifer faunası ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Ayrıca çalışmada kaydedilen tüm türler Nevşehir faunası için yeni kayıt niteliğindedir.

There have been many studies on the rotifers in Turkey, therefore the diversity and distribution of species under Rotifera phylum are well known. Many species have been diagnosed from the samples taken from the freshwaters of almost all provinces of Turkey, however no study has been carried out for the province of Nevsehir until now. This thesis study is the first to examine the Nevsehir province Rotifera fauna. With the purpose of determining the Nevsehir province freshwater Rotifera species, field surveys have been performed in between April 2013 and February 2014. Rotifera samples were collected from 3 different stations of 10 different water resources within the boundaries of Nevsehir. The collected samples were put into 250 ml plastic bottles (in 4% formaldehyde), labeled, and taken to laboratory. Scanning electron microscope (SEM), binocular and inverted light microscopes were utilized in diagnosis of the collected rotifer species. As a result of this study, 72 species of 28 genera were determined for Rotifera phylum. While the Lecane genus is recorded as the most dominant with 9 species (13%), then Trichocerca (7 species, 10%), Brachionus (7 species, 10%), and Cephalodella 5 species, 7%) genera have followed. Consequently, this study has revealed the Nevsehir Rotifera fauna for the first time. Furthermore, all species recorded during the study are the new entries for Nevsehir fauna.
