Özet

Günümüzde sosyal medya siteleri geniş bir kitle tarafından kullanılmakta ve modern çağın medya modeli olarak değerlendirilmektedir. İnternet tabanlı bu web siteleri birçok kişinin görsel ve işitsel medya araçlarını, bilgi ve fikir paylaşımını kolay ve etkili sunumlarla paylaşmasını sağlamış, sınırsız bir iletişim ağı kurulmuştur. Bu iletişim ağı hızlı ve yoğun olması açısından büyük bir güç durumuna gelmiş, büyük toplumsal hareketlerin oluşumda etkili olmuştur. Sosyal medyanın gücünü kötüye kullanan terör örgütleri de bulunmuş son günlerde özellikle IŞİD örgütü katılımcı sayısını arttırmayı sosyal medya konusunda uzmanlaşarak sağlamıştır. Çalışmada IŞİD üyesi bir gencin bu mecrada fikirlerinin değişme süreci ve algı yönetimi ve sosyal medya konusunda deneyimli şahıslar tarafından ikna edilmesindeki etkenler ortaya konulmuştur. Tezin amacı toplumsal kutuplaşma ve sosyal medya arasındaki bağı farklı yönlerden araştırıp oluşan olumsuz etkilere dikkat çekmektir. Bu açıdan araştırma temelinde gerekli literatür taraması yapılmış, çalışmaya katkı sağlayacak bilgiler sağlanmıştır. Bu bilgiler doğrultusunda faydalı olabilecek sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Sosyal medyanın toplumsal kutuplaşmada negatif etkiler yarattığı saptanmış olup gerekli önlemler sıralanmıştır.

Nowadays, the webs sites on the web are used by a large group of people and it is seen as the media model of the modern age. These web sites which are based in the internet provides that all these people to share their audio-visual media tools, their information about a topic and their ideas with the presentations which are practical and efficient and a limitless communication network is established. It has became a big power in the aspect of the being of this communication network is fast and intense so it had been efficient in the formation of the great social movements. Also, there have been some terrorist organizations which use the power of the social media especially the organization of IŞİD has provided to increase their participant with specializing in the issue of the social media. In this study, there is an interview with a member of the organization of IŞİD which includes the process of the changes of his ideas about IŞİD in social media and the factors in the case of the persuasion by the experts in the fields of the perception management and the social media. The aim of this investigation is that researching the relation between the social polarization and the topic of social media in the different approaches and pointing out the negative effects of it. Thus, the required literature review is scanned and the information which can be contributed to the investigation is supplied. Therefore, the useful results are achieved with this knowledge. Finally, it is stated that the social media has many negative effects on the social polarization and the necessary precautions are ordered in the end of the study.
