Özet
Bu çalışmada Jean Genet' nin Hizmetçiler oyunu ile çağdaş dans arasında bir ilişkiler düzlemi aranması ve bunu takiben ulaşılan sonuçların koreografik bir zeminde sunulması hedeflenmiştir. Fransız oyun yazarı Jean GENET' nin tiyatro düşüncesi teorik ve pratik anlamda incelenerek bunun bir sahne çalışmasına dönüştürülmesi temel amaçtır. Çalışma boyunca oyun metin anlamında gerekli ön çalışmalarla derinlemesine araştırılarak, tiyatro ve dans arasındaki vazgeçilmez ilişkiler irdelenecektir. Oyun içinde, Jean GENET' nin Varoluşçu Tiyatro görüşü, oyuncu/dansçının sahne üzerinde ' şimdi ve burada' olma çabası aranacak ve bulunan sonuçlar neticesinde yeni bir sahne metni hazırlanacaktır. Yazılan sahne metni, koreografik yorum düzleminde bir dans rejisi ile birlikte ortaya konacaktır. Çıkan görsel malzeme teorik ve pratik prensipler ile sabitlenerek, başı, ortası ve sonu olan; prova edilebilen, tek başına bütünlük içeren, seyredilebilir, eleştirilebilir ve yorumlanabilir bir dans eseri haline getirilecektir. Çalışmamız sonucunda ulaşmayı umduğumuz hedef; yazılı bir tiyatro metninin dramatik hikayesinin dans rejisi ve koreografi ile sahnelendiği, çağdaş bir sahne eseri yaratmaktır. The aim of this analysis is to search for a common ground between Modern Dance and the text of Jean Genet' s“The Maids”and present the experimental results in the choreographic form. The main purpose is to design a stage performance based on detailed study of Jean GENET's style in theatre both theoretically and practically. During this analysis the play will be researched thoroughly within a dramaturgical aspect of the text in order to scrutinize the indispensable relationship between theatre and dance. Within the play the existentialist view of Jean GENET's theatre, the actor/dancer' s efforts to be in the moment, 'here and now' on the stage will be pinpointed and a new performance text will be prepared based on these findings. The new performance text will be expressed with a dance regie within the choreographic plain. The visual material obtained will be stabilized with the help of theoretical and practical principals, and will be turned into a dance performance for stage that has a beginning, middle, an end, and that can be rehearsed and staged. The expected end result of this analysis is to be able to express a theatre text with the tools of the art of dance with a dance regie and choreography, and create a modern stage performance.
