Özet
Amaç: Bu araştırmada, lise öğrencilerinin duygusal zekâları ile çatışma çözme becerileri ve sosyal becerileri arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Kars ilinin Kağızman ilçesindeki liselerde öğrenim görmekte olan 442 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama araçları olarak Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği, Sosyal Beceri Ölçeği, Çatışma Çözme Davranışlarını Belirleme Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre, çatışma çözme becerisi alt boyutlarından saldırganlık ile duygusal zekâ arasında negatif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu, problem çözme ile duygusal zekâ arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu görülmüştür. Çatışma çözme becerileri toplam puanı ile duygusal zekâ arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sosyal becerinin sosyal kural alt boyutu dışında diğer alt boyutlarının duygusal zekâ ile arasında pozitif yönlü anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Sonuç: Sosyal beceri toplam puanı ile duygusal zekâ arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Problem çözme becerileri ve sosyal becerilerin duygusal zekânın anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ancak saldırganlık ve çatışma çözme becerilerinin öğrencilerin duygusal zekâları üzerinde anlamlı bir yordayıcı etkiye sahip olmadığı bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte yaşın, sınıf düzeyinin ve okul türünün duygusal zekâ üzerinde ayrıca cinsiyetin sadece duyguların farkında olma alt boyutunda anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğu ancak ikamet edilen yerin, anne eğitim düzeyinin, baba eğitim düzeyinin, algılanan anne baba tutumunun, sosyoekonomik düzeyin öğrencilerin duygusal zekâları üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisinin olmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

Purpose: In this research, the relation between the emotional intelligence, ability of solving problems and social abilities of the high school students is searched. Method: The research which is done by the method of quantitive search is a descriptive study. The working group of the research consists of quantitive search is a descriptive study. The working group of the reseach consists of 442 students who study in high schools in Kağızman, Kars. As data collection devices; Emotional Intelligence Scale Social Skills Scale, Defining Solving Conflict Attitudes Scale and Personal Information Form have been used in the research. Findings: According to the findings in the and of the survey, it is understood that there are a significant and negative relationship between the emotional intelligence and agressiveness, which is the subdimension of The Skills of Solving Conflict. Also, It is realized that there are a valuable and positive relationship between the emotional intelligence and solving problem. It is found out that there are a positive and meaningful relationship between the total point of skills of solving conflict and the emotional intelligence. It has been found that other sub-dimensions of social skill, besides social rule sub-dimension, are positivelyrelated to emotional intelligence. Results: Also it has been found that there is a positive and significant relationship between social skills total score and emotional intelligence. Problem-solving skills and social skills have been found to be a significant predictor of emotional intelligence. However, it has been found that aggression and conflict resolution skills do not have a significant effect of age, class level and school type on emotional intelligence as well as gender on the sub-dimension of being aware of emotions, however it has been found that there is no significant effect of place of residence, mother education level, father education level, perceived parentel attitude, socioeconomic level on the emotional intelligence of the students.
