Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı, hikâye haritası yönteminin video geri bildirim ile sunumunun zihin yetersizliği olan çocukların okuduğunu anlama becerisindeki etkililiğini araştırmaktır. Araştırmaya, hafif düzey zihinsel yetersizliği olan 14 yaşlarında ikisi erkek biri kız olmak üzere toplam üç öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada tek denekli araştırma modellerinden ''Denekler Arası Çoklu Yoklama Modeli'' kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bağımsız değişkeni hikâye haritası yönteminin video geri bildirimle sunulmasıdır. Bağımlı değişkeni ise, hafif düzey zihinsel yetersizliği olan üç öğrencinin okuduğunu anlama beceri düzeyleridir. Araştırmanın bulguları, hikâye haritası yönteminin video geri bildirim ile sunumunun okuduğunu anlama becerisi üzerinde üç öğrencide etkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Araştırmanın sosyal geçerlik bulguları, deneklerin ve öğretmenlerin hikâye haritası yönteminin video geri bildirim ile sunumunun okuduğunu anlama becerisi üzerindeki etkisine ilişkin görüşlerinin olumlu olduğunu göstermiştir.

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the effectiveness of the implementation of story mapping method through video feedback on the reading comprehension skills of intellectually disabled children. The study group consists of three 14-year-old students (one girl and two boys) who have mild intellectual disability. In the study, multiple probe design, one of the single subject research designs, is employed. The independent variable of the study is the implementation of story mapping method through video feedback whereas the dependent variable is the reading comprehension skills of the three students with mild intellectual disabilities. The findings of the study indicated that the implementation of the story mapping method through video feedback was effective on the reading comprehension skills of the three students. Further, the social validity findings indicate that the subjects of the study and their teachers have positive opinions about the effect of the implementation of the story mapping method through video feedback on reading comprehension skills.
