Özet
Eğitim ve öğretimin temeli sayılan ilkokul, her insanın hayatında oldukça önemli bir yere sahiptir. Geleceğimizin şekillendiği bu dönemin en önemli mimarları hiç kuşkusuz öğretmenlerdir. Bu kutsal görevi yerine getiren öğretmenlerin sadece akademik yönden gerekli donanıma sahip olması yeterli olmamaktadır. Bu kişilerin gerek fizyolojik gerekse de psikolojik yönden sağlıklı olması gerekir. İnsanı eğitme görevine talip olan öğretmenlerin; empati kurabilmesi, başkalarının ve kendi duygularını anlayabilmesi, duygularını anlaşılır şekilde ifade etmesi ve sağlıklı iletişim kurabilmesi oldukça önem arz etmektedir. Duygusal Zekâ tanımı içinde de geçen bu kavramlar, bize Öğretmenlerin duygusal zekâsının yüksek olmasının ne kadar gerekli olduğunu göstermiştir. Mesleğini yerine getirdiği sırada hayatından memnun olan ve yaşam doyumu yüksek bireylerin yetiştirdiği çocuklar daha aydınlık yarınlara kavuşmamızı sağlayabilir. Bu da öğretmenlerin öznel iyi oluş düzeylerinin yüksek olmasının ne denli önemli olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.Sonuçlar: Öznel iyi oluş ölçeği toplam puan ortalamasının duygusal zekâ ölçeği toplam puan ortalamasından yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Duygusal zekâ ile öznel iyi oluş arasında pozitif yönde orta güçlükte bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu demektir ki; öğretmenlerde duygusal zekâ arttıkça öznel iyi oluş düzeyi de artmaktadır. Duygusal Zekâ Toplam puanında kadınların ortalaması erkeklerin ortalamasından; Öznel toplam puan kadınların ortalaması erkeklerin ortalamasından yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Öznel iyi oluşun meslekteki çalışma süresi arttıkça azaldığı tespit edilmiştir. Diğer branş öğretmenlerin duygusal zeka düzeyi bakımından sınıf öğretmenlerinden yüksek olduğu görülmüştür.

The primary school which is considered as the basis of education and training plays a very important role in every person's life. The most important architects of this era in which our future is shaped are undoubtedly teachers. It is not enough for teachers who perform this sacred duty only by having the necessary equipment in the academic direction. These people should be healthy both physiologically and psychologically. To empathize, to understand others' and their own feelings, to express their feelings clearly, and to have healthy communication are very ımportant for teachers who devote himself or herself to the task of educating the people;. These concepts, which are also included in the definition of Emotional Intelligence, have shown us how much the emotional intelligence of Teachers is necessary. Children who are raised by people who are with high life satisfaction and satisfied with their life can provide us with more bright tomorrows when they fulfill their profession. So this shows the importance of having high subjective form for teachers.Results: The subjective well-being scale has been found to be higher than the total score average of of the emotional intelligence scale. It has been found that there is a medium difficult relationship between emotional intelligence and subjective well-being in the positive direction. It means that; As the emotional intelligence of teaachers increases, the level of subjective well-being increases. it has been found that the total average of women's emotional intelligence score and subjective well-being scores are higher than the average of men. It has been found that subjective well-being decreases as the duration of work in the profession increases. The levels of emotional intelligence of other branch teachers have been found higher than primary school teachers'.
