Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Gümüşhane ili merkez ilçesindeki ortaokul düzeyindeki öğrencilerin afet bilinci bilgi düzeyini ve yapmış olduğumuz afet eğitimi sunumunun öğrencilerin afet bilinci bilgi düzeyi üzerine etkisini ölçmektir. Araştırmanın evrenini Gümüşhane merkez ilçede bulunan tüm ortaokullarda öğrenim gören 1808 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Araştırma küme örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen Gümüşhane merkez ilçede iki ortaokul ve merkeze bağlı bir belde olmak üzere toplam üç ortaokulda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi, üç ortaokulda okuyan 5., 6., 7. ve 8. sınıf olmak üzere tüm sınıflarından basit rastgele örnekleme yöntemi ile ikişer şube seçilerek 341 öğrenciden oluşmuştur. Araştırmamızın veri toplama aşaması 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim döneminde yapılmıştır. Öğrencilere eğitim öncesi, eğitim sonrası ve eğitimden iki ay sonra literatür araştırılarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan anket formu gözlem altında uygulanmıştır. İlk anket uygulamasından sonra araştırmacı tarafından literatür araştırılarak hazırlanan sunum uygulanmıştır. Veriler SPSS 20,0 istatistiksel paket programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Gümüşhane ilinde heyelan, kaya düşmesi,sel gibi.. doğal afetler deprem doğal afetinden daha sık gözükmektedir. Öğrencilerin % 74,5 Gümüşhane doğumlu olmasına rağmen eğitim öncesi öğrencilerin bölgesel riskler konusunda yeterince bilgiye sahip olmadıkları görülmüştür. Öğrencilere verilen eğitimden hemen sonra toplam bilgi ortalama puanı (59,64±15,38), eğitim öncesi toplam ortalama bilgi puanıyla (50,23±16,25) istatistiksel olarak yapılan karşılaştırma anlamlı bulunmuş öğrencilere yapılan sunum afet bilgi düzeyini artırmıştır. Eğitimden iki ay sonra toplam ortalama bilgi puanının (53,74±16,52) eğitim öncesi ve eğitimden sonra ki toplam puan ortalamalarının istatiksel karşılaştırmaları yapılan sunumun kalıcılık etkisinin devam ettiğini göstermektedir. Araştırmamız sonucunda; üç ortaokulda bulunan öğrencilerin afet bilgisinin bölgesel riskler ve korunma, hazırlık konusunda yetersizliği ve kız öğrencilerin afet bilgisinin erkeklerden fazla olduğu görülmüştür. Yapılan eğitim öğrencilerin afet bilinci düzeyini artırmış ve kalıcılık etkisini sürdürmüştür. Öğrencilerin afet bilgi düzeyini artırmak için afet eğitiminin bölgesel riskler düşünülerek planlanması, uzman kişiler tarafından okullarda afet eğitimlerinin verilmesi, belirli aralıklarla tekrarlanması önerilmektedir.

The aim of this study is to measure the level of knowledge of disaster awareness and the effect of disaster training presentation on the level of knowledge of disaster awareness of secondary school students in central district of Gümüşhane. The universe of the study consisted of 1808 students studying in all secondary schools in Gümüşhane. The study was carried out in three secondary schools in Gümüshane, which were selected by cluster sampling method, two secondary schools and one town in the center. The sample of the study consisted of 341 students in each of the 5, 6, 7 and 8 grades in three secondary schools with two randomly selected random sampling methods. The data collection phase of our study was conducted in the 2015-2016 academic year. Two months after the training, before and after the training, the literature was searched and the questionnaire form prepared by the researcher was applied under observation. After the first survey, the researcher applied the literature by investigating the literature. The data were analyzed with SPSS 20.0 statistical package program. In Gümüşhane province, landslides, rock falls, floods etc .. natural disasters are seen more frequently than earthquake natural disaster. Although 74.5% of the students were born in Gümüshane, it was observed that the students did not have enough knowledge about the regional risks before the training. Immediately after the training, total information average score (59.64 ± 15.38), total average information score before the training (50.23 ± 16.25) was made statistically significant comparison of the presentation made the students have increased disaster information level. Two months after the training, the total average knowledge score (53,74 ± 16,52) compared the total score averages before and after the training. As a result of our research; it is seen that the disaster information of the students in three secondary schools is higher than the regional risks and protection, lack of preparation, and female students' disaster information. The education increased the level of disaster awareness of students and continued their persistence effect. In order to increase the disaster level of the students, it is suggested that disaster training should be planned by considering regional risks, and disaster training should be given by experts in schools
