Özet
Bu çalışmada 1960 sonrasından günümüze kadar olan zaman diliminde Türk resim sanatında tema ve imge kullanımı sanat yapıtları ve sanatçılar üzerinden incelenmiştir. Tarihsel süreç göz önünde tutularak yapılan bu incelemede öncelikle Türk resim sanatının kökeninde ele alınan temalar ve kullanılan imgeler, eş zamanlı olarak dünyadaki gelişmeler ve bu gelişmelerin 1960 sonrası Türk resmine yansımaları incelenmiştir. 1960'lı yıllardan sonrası Türk toplumunun, yeni kültürel kimlik oluşturma sürecinin en yoğun yaşandığı dönem olarak nitelendirilebilir. 20. Yüzyıl'ın sonunda politik ve ideolojik yöntemlerin başarısızlığa uğradığı yeni arayışlara gidildiği bir dönemdir. Bu dönemde düşünsel ve sanatsal alanda tartışılan postmodernizm Türk resmini tema ve imge açısından yeni bir döneme taşımaktadır. Bu anlamda 1960'ların sonundan itibaren daha yoğun bir şekilde kişisel yasam öykülerinden, fantezilere, güç, cinsiyet ve kimlik sorunlarına kadar birçok konu geçmiş ile ilinti kuran fakat günümüz dünyasında anlamını değiştiren farklı semboller ile kullanılmaktadır. Ayrıca geçmişten günümüze değin; sanat tarihçileri, sanat eleştirmenleri, filozoflar ve sanatçılar tarafından en çok sorgulanan kavramlar içinde yer alan“tema”ve“imge”kavramları kuramsal çerçeve içinde ele alınmıştır. Bu bilgilere dayanarak; çalışma kapsamında benzeşik öğretim yöntemiyle seçilmiş resimler tema ve imge açısından çözümlenmiştir. Ölüm olgusunu, sanat var olduğu günden beri ressamlar ele almıştır. İnsanı ilgilendiren en önemli kavramlardan biri ölümdür. Bütün toplumlarda ölüm, bireyin yaşadığı yaşamın nihai bir sonucu, olayların etrafında döndüğü bir olgudur. Hayatın kaçınılmaz sonunu dile getirir. Bu yüzyılda yaşanan olaylara ve savaşlara sanatçılar sessiz kalmamış çalışmalarına yansıtmış içinde yaşadığı sürecin bir parçası olarak karşımıza çıkmıştır. Ölüm teması, daima sanatçıların eserlerine konu olmuş en çok üzerinde durulan konuların başında gelmiştir. Vanitas, macabre, memento mori gibi terimlerle adlandırılan ölüm konusunun ele alındığı resim, heykel ve baskılar üretilmiştir. İmgesel olarak ifade edebilme sanatsal açıdan önem arz eder. 1960 sonrası Türk resim sanatında ölüm olgusu bağlamında ele alınan imgeler, ölüm olgusunun Türk resim sanatı kapsamındaki ölüme bakış açısını değiştirmiştir. Şiddetin ve ölümün resmedilmesi yüzyıllar öncesinde de görülmektedir. Fakat yaşanan toplumsal olayların ve savaşların bir yansıması olarak şiddet ve ölüm 1960'lardan sonra, teknolojinin de gelişmesiyle daha fazla görselleşmeye başlamıştır. Resimde ölüm olgusu, öldürme teması yoğun bir şekilde kompozisyonlara yansımıştır. Buna dayalı olarak Türk resim sanatında da 1960'lı yıllardan sonra değişen imgeci yaklaşım, ölüm olgusu için ortaya atılan ve çağımızın koşullarına göre yeniden şekillenen haliyle ele alınmıştır denilebilir. Sanatçılar çağının bir gereği olarak ölüm olgusundan hareketle psikolojik ve sosyolojik olayları ve durumları gözlemleyip sanatının konularından biri haline getirmişlerdir.“1960 Sonrası Türk Resim Sanatında Ölüm Teması”başlıklı çalışmada, genel olarak ölüm kavramı üzerinde durularak ölüm olgusunu farklı imgelerle konu edinen sanatçılar ve yapıtları incelenerek konu bağlamında değerlendirilecektir.

In this study, the use of themes and images in Turkish painting in the period from 1960 until the present day has been examined through works of art and artists. Considering the historical process in this study, firstly the themes and images used at the origin of Turkish painting, the developments in the world simultaneously and the reflections of these developments on Turkish painting after 1960 were examined. Turkish society after the 1960s, the process of creating a new cultural identity can be described as the most intense period. At the end of the 20th century, political and ideological methods have failed and this is a period in which new searches are made. In this period, postmodernism, which is discussed in the intellectual and artistic fields, brings Turkish painting to a new era in terms of theme and image. In this sense, from the late 1960s onwards, many subjects, from personal life stories to fantasies, power, gender and identity problems, are used with different symbols that relate to the past but change their meaning in today's world. Also from past to present; the concepts of“theme”and“image”concepts within the most questioned by art historians, art critics, philosophers and artists, were discussed in the theoretical framework. Based on this information; In the study, the selected pictures were analyzed in terms of theme and image. Since the existence of art, death has been handled by painters. Death is one of the most important concepts that concern people. In all societies, death is an eventual event of the individual's life and a phenomenon that revolves around events. Death expresses the inevitable end of life. The artists did not remain silent and ignore the events and wars that took place in this century. They have reflected this in their work. Artworks appear as part of the process in which he lives.The theme of death has always been the subject of the works of artists and is one of the most emphasized subjects. The death themed called Vanitas, macabre, memento mori, paintings, sculptures and prints were produced. Expressing imaginatively is important in terms of art. The images which were taken in the context of death in Turkish painting after 1960 changed the point of view of death to death under Turkish painting art. The painting of violence and death can be seen centuries ago. But as a reflection of the social events and wars, violence and death began to become more visualized after the 1960s with the development of technology. In the picture, the death phenomenon and the theme of killing are heavily reflected in the compositions. On the basis of this, the imaginative approach, which changed after 1960s in Turkish painting art, can be said to have been dealt with in the form of death that has been put forward and reshaped according to the conditions of our times. As a requirement of their age, artists have observed the psychological and sociological events and situations from the point of view of death and made them one of the subjects of their art. Turkish Death Theme in Turkish Painting after 1960 "in this study, the artists and their works with an emphasis on the concept of death in general, which focuses on the phenomenon of death with different images, will be examined in the context of the subject.
