Özet
ÖZET Günümüzde büyük inşaat yapılarının başarıyla ve zamanında gerçekleştirilebilmeleri için kurulan büyük şantiyelerin iyi düzenlenmeleri ve kurulmaları çok büyük önem kazanmıştır. Bu amaçla tezin birinci bölümünde, şantiyelerin kurulma aşamasındaki problemlerden bahsedilmiştir. Çözülmesi gereken en önemli problemler, taşımalar ve bunlarla ilgili hareket problemleridir. Bir yapının ekonomik olarak yapılabilmesi için öncelikle taşıma ve hareket işini halletmek gerekir. Tezin ikinci bölümünde; şantiyelerin nasıl kurulduğu, düzenlenirken nelere dikkat edilmesi gerektiği, karşılaşılan şantiye tipleri ve bunların genel özellikleri, şantiyelerde bulunması gerekli tesisler, şantiyelerin makine ve alet parkı ile şantiyelerin trafik akım sistemleri hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Otoyol şantiyelerinin çok özel ve büyük şantiyeler olması nedeniyle üçüncü bölümde de, bunların genel özellikleri ve diğer şantiye türleriyle karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Bu karşılaştırmanın yapılabilmesi için gözlem ve incelemelerden faydalanılmıştır. Özel olarak bir otoyol şantiyesinin de incelenmesi dördüncü bölümde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Örnek olarak Gümoşova-Gerede otoyolu seçilmiş ve bu otoyol ile şantiyesinin genel ve kendine has özellikleri incelenmiştir. Bu araştırmalar ışığında elde edilen sonuçlar ve öneriler beşinci bölümde verilmiştir. ıx

place is very important, that the machinery and equipment should be new and effective, and that the service roads should be well constructed. The results drawn from the observations and research are discussed in the fifth part of the thesis. The points that should be considered carefully and some suggestions are presented in this part, as well. xivSince the features of a highway site are numerous, it was necessary to study a highway site, and this study is presented in the fourth part of the thesis. Gümüşova-Gerede highway site is studied as an example. Firstly, general information concerning this highway and the importance of the highway are discussed. The most important characteristic of the highway and the importance of the highway are discussed. Anadolu highway is a highway which is being constructed between Gümüşova and Gerede and which is divided into five sections. The total length of the highway is 114.082 km. The completion date of the highway is estimated as 31st of December in 1998. The contractor of the highway is an Itailan company called Astaldi; the control and consultancy of the construction is undertaken by the companies Yüksel-Rendel on behalf of T.C.K. (Highways of Republic of Turkey). Besides these, tehre are a lot of subcontractor firms. Having studied the route plans, it is seen that the total length of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th sections of the highway is 90 km. The 85 km. of this length is in use, and the rest of it, 5 km of the highway is completed in 1995. There are still some works in the second section on the highway. The maintenance in other parts and some secondary works for some certain part are going on. The second section which is still under construction is the most important part of the highway, because there is the Bolu Mountain Tunnel which is under construction. The realization of the construction is very important and the advantages of it are numerous. The passage through the Bolu Mountain is now very dangerous because of the geographic obstacles. It is still not secure enough for the traffic jam in the area. There will be a certain decrease in the numbers of the traffic accidents arising from the natural reasons (especially in the winter). Besides, there will be a secure and joyful journey for the travelers. In the second section, besides the Bolu Mountain Tunnel, the construction of the First Viaduct, the works on the Asarsu Valley, and the Abant Junction are going on. On the other hand, the constructions of some various types of structures are being continued. Then the site of this highway is studied. The study of the highway site is classified into the headings like the machninery and equipment of the highway, the facilities, the structure, and the service roads. In this respect, the facilities in the site area are stated, and some photos of them are presented. The settlement and location of the facilities are studied, as well. The specifications of the machinery and equipment of the site are also studied and the tables and photos of them are added. In addition to them, the prices of some of the machinery are stated. Some general information and photos concerning the service roads of the site are given. The importance of these roads is underlined. Finally, the detailed information about the artistic buildings which are the main characteristic of the highways, and the photos on the process of their construction are presented. In addition to them, the operation and maintenance facilities of this highway are stated and the tables and pictures of them are added. Sites get their characteristics when all the above mentioned factors are paid attention. The degree of this attention is very close connected with the success of the site in the future. It means that the more attention is paid for these factors the easier the succes, which the site aims, comes. Through this research, it is discussed what should be considered most in order to construct successfully the construction. In this respect, we discussed that the establishment of the sites should be realized carefully, that the determination of the site xiiiplace is very important, that the machinery and equipment should be new and effective, and that the service roads should be well constructed.
