Özet

Amaç: Çekal Ligasyon Perforasyon (ÇLP) yöntemi ile sepsis oluşturulan sıçanlarda likopenin serum İnterlökin-1β (IL-1β) ve İnterlökin-6 (IL-6) düzeylerine etkisi ve sepsiste ilk etkilenecek organ olan akciğerlerde inflamasyonun değerlendirilmesi amaçlandı. Materyal Metod: Çalışmamızda ağırlıkları 220–250 gr olan toplam 24 adet erkek Albino Wistar Sıçan kullanıldı ve denekler, kontrol (Grup Sağlıklı), sepsis (Grup ÇLP), sepsis + likopen 100 mg/kg (Grup L100) ve sepsis + likopen 200 mg/kg (Grup L200) grupları olmak üzere 4 gruba ayrıldı. Kontrol grubundaki sıçanlar hiçbir işleme tabi tutulmazken, diğer gruplardaki sıçanlara ÇLP işlemi uygulandı. Çalışmamızda likopen gastrik lavaj yolu ile Grup L100 grubundaki deneklere 100 mg/kg ve Grup L200 grubundaki deneklere 200 mg/kg olarak verildi. ÇLP işleminden 18 saat sonrasında intrakardiyak kan örnekleri alınarak serum IL-1β ve IL-6 düzeylerine bakıldı. Ayrıca akciğer doku örnekleri alınarak histopatolojik incelemeye gönderildi. Gruplardan elde edilen sayısal değerler; ortalama ± SD olarak ifade edildi. Biyokimyasal analizlerden elde edilen sayısal veriler One Way ANOVA Tukey testi ile analiz edildi. P

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of lycopene on serum Interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and Interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels in rats induced by cecal ligation perforation (CLP) and to evaluate inflammation in the lungs, the first organ to be affected by sepsis. Materials and Methods: A total of 24 male Albino Wistar rats weighing 220-250 g were used in the study, and subjects were divided into four groups as control (Group Healthy), sepsis (Group CLP), sepsis + lycopene 100 mg / kg (Group L100) and sepsis + lycopene 200 mg / kg (Group L200). The rats in the control group were not subjected to any treatment, while the rats in the other groups underwent CLP. In our study, lycopene was given 100 mg / kg to Group L100 and 200 mg / kg to Group L200 by gastric lavage. Serum IL-1β and IL-6 levels were measured after intracardiac blood samples were taken 18 hours after the CLP procedure. In addition, lung tissue samples were taken and sent for histopathological examination. The numerical values obtained from the groups; expressed mean ± SD .
