Özet
Bu çalışmada Regüler Sturm-Liouville operatörü ele alınmıştır.Tez, giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır.Giriş bölümü, konunun önemini ve spektral teorideki yerini göstermektedir.Birinci bölümde, diferansiyel operatörlerin spektral teorisinde sık kullanılan önemli tanım ve teoremler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, verilen denklemin belirli başlangıç koşullarını sağlayan çözümleri için integral denklemler elde edilmiş, oldukça kullanışlı olan integral gösterilim verilmiş ve sınır değer probleminin öz değer ve öz fonksiyonlarının önemli özellikleri araştırılmıştır.Son olarak üçüncü bölümde ise ele alınan operatör için ters problemlere yer verilmiştir.

In this study, the regular Sturm-Liouville operator is considered. The thesis consists of introduction and three chapters. In the introduction, important of the subject and location in spectral theory are shown. In the first chapter,important definitions and theorems which are used frequently in spectral theory of differantial operators are given. In the second chapter, integral equations for solution which satisfy certain initial of given equation has been obtanied and useful integral representation has been derivedand then using derived represantation some important properties of eigenvalues and eigenfunction have been investigated. Finally, the last chapter, consist of the inverse problem.
