Özet
Araştırmanın amacı; Ebeveynlerin sergiledikleri tutumlar ile yaptıkları değerlendirmelerin lise öğrencilerinin gelecek beklentisi ve akademik yeterlik algısı üzerinde ne derece rol oynadığını saptamaktır. Tez bu konu hakkında bilgi ve literatüre katkı sağlamayı hedeflemektedir. Araştırmanın örneklemini İstanbul ilinde bulununan özel bir lisede 14- 18 yaş arası öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılım gönüllülük esası içermektedir. Katılımcı sayısı 315 kişidir. Araştırmanın katılımcılarına ''Sosyodemografik Bilgi Formu'' , ''Ergenlerde Gelecek Beklentisi Envanteri'', ''Anne Baba Tutum Envanteri'' uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizi için SPSS 18 programı kullanılmış, hipotezlerin incelenmesinde, Pearson korelasyonu ve bağımsız t testinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre çalışmaya katılan öğrencilerin algıladıkları anne baba tutumu ortalamaları incelendiğinde,demokratik tutumun daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Lise öğrencilerinin cinsiyeti ve gelecek beklentileri arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığı incelendiğinde cinsiyetin yıl sonu başarı ortalaması, İş ve Eğitim, Evlilik ve Aile ve Sağlık ve Yaşam altfaktörlerinde anlamlı düzeyde bir farklılaşma olduğu saptanmıştır. Kız öğrencilerin ortalamaları erkeklere göre daha yüksektir. Katılımcılar en yüksek puanları sırasıyla İş veEğitim, Sağlık ve Yaşam, Evlilik ve Aile ve Din ve Toplum alt faktörlerinden toplanmıştır.. Evlilik ve Aile ile tüm ebeveyn tutumları arasında anlamlı pozitif ilişki mevcuttur. Din ve toplum alt boyutu için de tüm ebeveyn tutumları ile istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı pozitif ilişkiye sahip olduğu vurgulanabilir. Elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde, en yüksek ilişki Evlilik ve Aile alt faktörü ile Din ve Yaşam Faktörü arasında bulunmuştur. Katılımcıların yıl sonu başarı ortalaması, hiçbir değişken ile anlamlı bulunamamış olup araştırmadan elde edilen bulguların genel olarak literatür ile uyumlu olduğu sonuçları elde edilmiştir

The Purpose of this research is to determine the role of the evaluations of the parents with the attitudes of them on the future expectation of high school students and their perception of academic competence. The thesis aims to contribute to the knowledge and literature on this subject. The sample of the study is composed of students aged between 14 and 18 years in a private high school in Istanbul. Participation in the study based on voluntariness. The number of participants is 315 people. The Parenting Scale and Adolescent Future Expectations Scale were applied to the participants.SPSS 18 program was used for the analysis of the data and Pearson correlation and independent t test were used for the analysis of hypotheses. According to the findings of the study, when the average of the perceived parental attitude of the students who participated in the study was examined, it was found that the democratic attitude was higher. When the gender of high school students and a significant relationship between the future expectations were examined, it was found that there was a significant difference in gender average year-end success, Work and Education, Marriage and Family and Health and Life sub-factors. The average of female students is higher than that of males. Participants' highest scores were collected from the sub-factors of Work and Education, Health and Life, Marriage and Family and Religion and Society respectively. There is a significant positive relationship between marriage and family and all parental attitudes. It can be emphasized that there is a statistically significant positive relationship with all parental attitudes for religion and society sub-dimension. According to the findings, the highest relationship was found between the Marriage and Family sub-factor and the Religion and Life Factor. The end-of-year success of the participants was not found to be significant with any variables, and the results obtained from the study were generally consistent with the literatüre
