Özet
Bu araştırma özel eğitim 1,2,3 kademede okuyan öğrencilerin yaptıkları resimlerde temel tasarım ilkeleri bakımından yaklaşımlarını saplamak amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Bu araştırmanın çalışma evreni; Ankara ilinde Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı Eğitim Uygulama okulu ve özel eğitim okulunda eğitim gören öğretilebilir ve eğitilebilir zihinsel engelli öğrenciler oluşturmuştur. Amaca uygun olarak çağdaş özel eğitim iş uygulama okulu seçilmiştir. Bu araştırma için her bir kademeyi temsilen 3 er öğrenci toplamda 10 öğrenci seçilmiş ve kendi istekleri doğrultusun da 5 gün arayla iki resim yaptırılmıştır. Her iki resimde öğrencilerin kendi özgür iradesi ile konu belirtilmeden serbest çalışma yapmaları istenmiştir. Yapılan çalışmaları uzmanlar tarafından temel tasarım ilkeleri bakımından değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirme ile zihinsel engelli öğrencilerin yaptıkları resimlerde hayal güçleri, belirledikleri hikâye ve resimlerinde yaşattıkları duygular belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada zihinsel engelli çocukların resim yaparken yaşadıkları çevre ve koşulların resimlerindeki etkileri tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin 5 gün arayla yapmış oldukları her iki çalışmada hayal güçleri, serbest resim çizme becerileri, duyguları, resimlerindeki hikâyeler belirlenmiş ve öğrencilerin kendileri tarafından çalışmaları yorumlanmıştır

This study was carried out in order to determine the approaches of the students studying in special education 1,2,3 levels in terms of basic design principles. The study population of this research; In the province of Ankara, the Education Application School and the Special Education School affiliated to the Directorate of National Education formed students who could be taught and educated. In accordance with the purpose, contemporary special education business practice school has been chosen. For this research, 10 students were selected from 3 students representing each level and two pictures were made at 5-day intervals according to their wishes. In both pictures, the students were asked to work freely without specifying the subject with their own free will. The studies were evaluated by experts in terms of basic design principles. With this evaluation, it was aimed to determine the imagination, the story and the emotions of the mentally disabled students in their paintings. In the study, the effects of the environment and conditions in the pictures of children with intellectual disabilities were determined. In both studies, which were carried out by the students every 5 days, their imagination, their free drawing skills, their emotions, the stories in their paintings were determined and their works were interpreted by themselves.
