Özet
Modern döneme geçilmesiyle birlikte yer, değişim ve dönüşüm geçirerek yok yere evrilmiştir. Yer, yok yere dönüşürken küresel çapta dönüşüm geçirmiştir. Yok yerler aidiyetlik kurulamayan, deneyimlenemeyen mekânlardır. Mekânın deneyimlenememesi durumu ise zaman algımızı etkilemekte ve mekânın okunaklı olamamasına neden olmaktadır. Mekânın okunaklı olamaması sonucunda mekân içinde yön bulmada sıkıntılar yaşanmaktadır. Mekânların okunaklı olması için mekânlar basit şekilde tasarlanmalı ve mekânlar renk, ışık ve ses gibi özelliklerle birbirlerinden farklılaşarak kendi kimliklerini oluşturmalıdır. Yok yerlerin en yaygın kullanılan örneklerinden olan metrolar da zaman algısı bakımından bu çalışmada incelenmiştir. Metrolar genellikle yeraltında konumlanmalarından dolayı metro istasyonlarında zaman algısı oluşamamaktadır. Ayrıca metro istasyonları kamuya ait ve küresel mekânlar olmalarından dolayı çok kültürlülüğün ortamlarıdır. Bireyler bu mekânlarda birbirlerini yabancı olarak algılayıp birbirlerine karşı teatral bir duruş sergilerler. Bu sebeple mekânda bulunan bireyler birbirleriyle yüzeysel olacak şekilde iletişim kurarlar. Metro istasyonları bireylerin birbirleriyle olan etkileşimlerini güçlendirebilecek şekilde tasarlanmalıdır. Bunlardan yola çıkarak metro istasyonları, çok fazla sayıda kişi tarafından kullanıldıklarından tasarımlardaki olumsuzluklara dikkat edilerek mekân tasarımları yapılmalıdır. Bu çalışmada mevcut örneklerin incelenmesi, sorunların ortaya konması temel amaç olarak belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca günümüz gelişen teknolojisinden de yararlanarak bu mekânların sorunlarının çözümlenmesinde uygulanabilecek örnekler incelenmiştir.

With the modern time, the place is converted to non-place. The place, changing to non-place is transformed into a universal change. The non-places as well are the unexperimental, it effects sense of time and it's the reason of the space not to be illegible. As a result of being illegible space, there are some difficulties inside the space to find the direction. To have legible spaces, the spaces have to be designed in a simple way. The spaces must be taken away from their own identity with the differents characteristics such as the color, the light and the sound. The subways which are one of the most widely used exemple of the non-places, researched in term of the time sense. Because of the underground location of the subways there is no formation of the time sense in the subway stations. As well, the subway stations for being spaces belonging to the public and are global spaces, therefore are the multi-cultural places. The individuals, feeling themselves as strongers in such places, they show to each other a kind of a theatral altitude. Therefore, the individuals in this space they contact each other superficially. The subway stations have to be designed in a way to strenghten their reactions to each other. As a result, in the subway stations, being used of many people designes of spaces must be done carefully against the negativity in the designes. The research of the examples and having solutions for the problems are the basic target of this mission. As well, using the devellopping technology of today for solving the problems of these spaces, usable examples are well analyzed.
