Özet

İnsanlar, içinde yaşamlarını sürdükleri dünyayı ve içinde yaşadıkları çevreyi anlayabilmek için sürekli veri toplayarak bir algılama sürecinde bulunurlar. Bu sürece iletişim denir. İletişim insanlar arasında anlaşmayı sağlayan en temel süreçtir. İnsan temelli olan bu sürecin kendisine has bazı teknikler kullanılarak birçok sayıda insanı etkileyecek hale getirilmesine ise kitle iletişimi denilir. Kitle iletişim kuramını geliştiren ve bu alanda önemli bir kuramcı olan Harold Dwight Laswell, iletişimi çizgisel bir iletişim olarak geliştirmiştir. Laswell, bu anlayışıyla geliştirdiği kuramı sayesinde, iletişim sürecini kontrol etme gücüne kavuşan kişi ve kurumların toplumu etkileyeceğini savunur. Bu kuramın anlattığı husus;“Kim, neyi, hangi kanaldan, hangi etki”ile aktardığıdır. Bu çalışmada; geniş halk kitlelerini etkilemeyi başaran Mevlâna ve en meşhur eseri olan Mesnevî'sindeki seçme hikâyeler, Laswell'in Kitle İletişim Kuramı'na göre incelenmiş ve kuramda bulunan çizgisel iletişime dayalı sorulara cevap aranmıştır. Çalışma yorumsamacı yöntem kullanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Yorumsamacı yöntem, verili anlatının konusuna uygun olarak seçilen hikâyelerin yorumlanarak, bunları bireyin yüklediği anlamlar aracılığı ile açıklamaya yöneliktir. Çalışmada, yorumsamacı yöntemin temeli olan ''anlama“ öğretisine dayanılarak ve incelememiz sonucunda elde ettiğimiz verilerin betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi yöntemleri ile çözümlenerek bilimsel bir inceleme yapılmıştır. Araştırmada kullandığımız yorumsamacı yönteme göre ''anlam'', yüzeysel olarak kavranamaz. Özellikle inceleme nesnesinin ''insan'' olduğu araştırmalarda, her bir durum farklılık gösterir ve daha derinlikli bir incelemeye ihtiyaç duyulur. Çalışma dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde ''iletişim nedir?'' ve ''iletişimin temel özellikleri nelerdir?'' sorularına cevap aranmıştır. İkinci bölümde ”Lasswell modeli ve soruları“ açıklanmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ”hikâye ve hikâye anlatıcılığı“ araştırılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda; Mevlâna'nın eserinde günümüz insanının kişisel gelişimine, üst düzey ahlâkî değerler eğitimine, etkili iletişime katkıları seçilen her hikâyede ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir. Mevlâna'nın kendisine özgü anlatım şekli ve seçilmiş hikâyeler içerisindeki öğütler ile verilmek istenen mesajın daha rahat anlaşılması, zihinde kolayca yer edinmesi ve bunlara ek olarak etkili iletişimi artırmasına dair inceleme yapılmıştır. Buna ek olarak, çalışmamızda Laswell iletişim kuramının sorularını bir kısayol formülü gibi kullanarak, seçilen hikâyelerin ana fikrine pratik bir şekilde ulaşmak hedeflenmiştir. Araştırmamızda üç kitapta yer alan mesnevi hikâyeleri incelenmiştir: Mehmet Zeren'in hazırladığı ”Mevlâna'nın Mesnevisinden Seçme Hikâyeler“, Emine Yeniterzi'nin hazırladığı ”Sevginin Evrensel Mühendisi Mevlâna“, Mürşide Uysal'ın hazırladığı ”Mesnevî'den Hikâyeler''. People are in a constant process of gathering information in order to make sense of the world and the environment in which they live. This process is called communication. Communication is the most basic process that ensures agreement between people. When this process expands, with the help of particular techniques, to affect a group of people, it is called mass communication. Harold Dwight Lasswell, who has proposed the Mass Communication Theory and was an important theorist in this field, developed communication as a linear communication. Lasswell argues that the people and the institutions which will seize control following his theory, will affect the society. Laswell's theory focuses on what is transferred, as well as by whom and through which channel and with which effect it is transferred. This study concentrates on the famous Sufi master and poet, Rumi, who has influenced thousands of people across the centuries, and analyzes stories from Rumi's most famous work, The Masnavi, in accordance with Lasswell's Mass Communication Theory, while it also attempts to answer questions based on linear communication that are found in Lasswell's theory. The research aims to understand how Rumi's style, narrative technique and his advices in the selected stories all help to increase the effective communication, making it easier for the audience to comprehend and remember his message. The conclusion attempts to answer how Rumi's work contributes to our generation's quest for self-improvement and ethical education. The study was prepared using interpretivist method. The interpretivist method is intended to interpret the stories selected in accordance with the existing purpose and to explain them through the meanings of the individual. Based on the“understanding”teaching which is the basis of this method and the data obtained as a result of our examination were analyzed by descriptive analysis, content analysis methods. By this way scientific research was carried out. That's why it's worth a little too much on the concept of 'understanding'. This method we use in the research process is based on the idea that the real meaning is not on the surface, and if there are people involved, every situation is different and every person has a different self. The study consists of four parts. In the first chapter“What is communication? and what are the main features of communication?”the answer to those questions has been sought. The second chapter describes the“Lasswell model and questions”. In the third chapter,“story and storytelling”was investigated. As a result of the work; Mevlâna's contributions to the personal development of today's people, the education of high moral values and effective communication were examined separately in each selected story. Mevlâna's unique narrative style and a better understanding of the message in the selected stories, to easily take place in the mind and to increase effective communication have been examined. The study can be called an experiment with the technique of narrative reading using Laswell's theory, which is a communication model. In addition, our study aims to reach the main idea of selected stories by using the questions of Laswell communication theory as a shortcut formula. In our research, the masnavi stories in the following three books were examined:“The Selected Stories from Mevlâna's Masnavi”by Mehmet Zeren,“Mevlâna, The Universal Engineer of Love”by Emine Yeniterzi“, ”Tales from Masnavi " prepared by Mürşide Uysal.
