Özet
p noktalı bir tam grafın (K_p) keyfi bir noktasına, q noktalı bir yol grafın 〖(P〗_q) keyfi bir sarkıt noktasının bağlanmasıyla elde edilen özel grafa p+q noktalı uçurtma graf denir ve 〖Kite〗_p^q ile gösterilir [16]. Uçurtma graf literatürde sıklıkla kullanılan bir graf türüdür ve spektral yarıçap gibi önemli parametrik değerlerde ekstremum sonuçlar verebilme özelliğine sahiptir [17]. Bu tez çalışmasında, özel bir graf türü olan uçurtma grafın spektral özelliklerinin derinlemesine incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Graf matrislerinin en bilinen ve en temel dört tipi olan komşuluk, uzaklık, Laplasyan ve işaretsiz Laplasyan matrislerine göre uçurtma grafın sahip olduğu spektral özelliklerini inceleyen literatürde mevcut çalışmalar araştırılmış ve bu çalışmalarda yer alan matematiksel bulguların uyumlu bir biçimde bir araya getirilmesiyle bu tez çalışması oluşturulmuştur.

The graph obtained by appending an arbitrary pendant vertex of a path graph with q vertices (P_q ) to an arbitrary vertex of a complete graph with p vertices (K_p ) is called a kite graph with p+q vertices and denoted by 〖Kite〗_p^q [16]. 〖Kite〗_p^q is a special graph that is frequently used in literature since it has the property of giving extreme results in important parameters of graphs such as spectral radius [17]. In this study, it is mainly aimed to examine the spectral properties of the kite graph in detail. According to the most known and main four types of graph matrices, adjacency, Laplacian, signless Laplacian and distance matrices, the existing works in the literature examining the proporties of the kite graph have been investigated and this thesis has been compiled by bringing together the mathematical findings in these studies in a harmonius way.
