Özet
Birleşik Krallık en çok göçmene ev sahipliği yapan beşinci ülke konumundadır. Buna rağmen göçmenlerin entegrasyonu ve toplum tarafından kabulü yeterince sağlanamamış ve Avrupa Birliği üzerinden göçmen karşıtlığı oluşmuştur. Bu süreçte oluşan göçmen karşıtlığı, giderek artan Avrupa Şüpheciliği (Euroscepticism), ekonomik sebepler ve egemenlik konusu Birleşik Krallık'ı referanduma götürmüştür. Birleşik Krallık, 2016 yılında gerçekleştirilen referandum sonucunda %51,9 oy ile Brexit kararı almıştır. Bu çalışma Brexit neticesinde, Puan Temelli Göç Sistemi vasıtasıyla İngiliz yetkililerin daha önce belirttikleri ve hedefledikleri gibi yıllık yüz bin net göçmen girişinin Birleşik Krallık ekonomisinde ne gibi etkiler yaratacağını incelemiştir. Avrupa Birliğinin genişleme politikalarının da etkisi ile Birleşik Krallık'ta net göçmen akışı hedeflenen rakamın yaklaşık üç katına kadar çıkmıştır. Göçmenlerin Birleşik Krallık ekonomisi üzerindeki etkilerin incelenmesi için Bütçe Sorumluluk Ofisi'nden (Office for Budget Responsibility) göçmenlerin kamu maliyesi üzerindeki etkileri, Birleşik Krallık Ulusal İstatistik Ofisi'nden (Office for National Statistics) Birlesik Krallık'ta göçmenlerin istihdamına ve ücretlerine yönelik veriler ve Göç Danışma Komitesi'nden (Migration Advisory Committee) göç ve göçmenlere dair birçok nicel ve nitel veri alınmış olup çeşitli kamu özel enstitülerin ve kurumların çalışmalarından faydalanılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında Birleşik Krallık'a gerçekleşen göçün teorisi oluşturulmuş ve Birleşik Krallık'ta göçmenlerin; temel ürün ve hizmetlerin fiyatlarını düşürdüğü ve/veya fiyat artışlarını sınırlandırdığı, konut fiyatlarında 'homophily'nin etkisi ile göçmenlerin kümelendiği bölgelerde konut fiyatlarının düştüğü, ayrıca kamu maliyesi olumlu net mali katkı yaptıkları, GSYİH büyümesine katkı sağladıkları ve ücretlerde ise daha belirsiz bir etkileri olmasıyla birlikte alt gelir gurubuna ait işçilerin ücretleri üzerinde azaltıcı etkileri olduğu bulunmuştur.

United Kingdom is the fifth country with the highest number of immigrants. Despite this, the integration of immigrants and their acceptance by the society could not be sufficiently ensured and anti-immigrant opposition emerged through the European Union. The anti-immigration opposition that emerged in this process, the increasing Euroscepticism, economic reasons and the issue of sovereignty led the United Kingdom to a referendum. As a result of the referendum held in 2016, the United Kingdom took the Brexit decision with 51.9% of the votes. This study examines the impacts of a hundred thousand net immigrant inflows on the UK economy as a result of Brexit, as British officials have previously stated and targeted through the Points Based Immigration System. With the effect of the enlargement policies of the European Union, the net migrant flow in the UK has reached approximately three times the targeted figure. For the study of the effects of immigrants on the UK economy, data from the Office for Budget Responsibility on the effects of immigrants on public finances, data on employment and wages of immigrants in the UK from the Office for National Statistics and Immigration many quantitative and qualitative data on migration and immigrants have been obtained from the Migration Advisory Committee and the work of various public private institutes and institutions has been utilized. Immigrants in the UK; While they reduce the prices of basic products and services and/or limit price increases, housing prices fall in areas where immigrants cluster with the effect of 'homophily' in housing prices, they also make a positive net financial contribution to public finances, contribute to GDP growth and have a more uncertain effect on wages. It has been found that there are reducing effects on the wages of workers belonging to the lower income group.
